More communication as to the plan, methods, and types of fish we would be going after would have been nice. When we reached the fishing ground the captain put the rod in our hands and said here you go! Six of us on the boat was a bit cramped at times but not too bad. Seas wound up being 5-10 feet and trolling in those conditions can be uncomfortable.

The nighttime kayak was beautiful from beginning to end. The night sky was idyllic, and being out on the water at night felt truly magical. Our guides were fantastic. They were young, enthusiastic, and brought such great energy to the experience while also sharing so much knowledge about the local marine life and birds. We all walked away having learned something new. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any better, we saw moon jellies and experienced the bioluminescence glowing in the water. It all started when I was searching for a center console and Skip, the owner, was brokering a boat for a client of his. He was up front and honest with me about the pros and cons of the boat, and made sure that I realized it was a true fishing boat. Skip and his team went out of their way to make my buying experience easy. From the survey and sea trial to the delivery he worked with me and my wife to ensure we were informed and answered any and all questions that you would expect from first time boat owners like us. The delivery was a chance for me to help pilot the boat from its home port to my mooring. Skip had his son go along with me to coach and guide me on the voyage. It was a great trip and I really appreciated the help. We will definitely look to Skip and his team to help us once we graduate from our current boat to a bigger one.

Here is the review: "Tour was just okay. We didn't stop at things people clearly wanted to stop at and there was a lot that no one cared about. The driver (my wife said his name was Richard) was anxious to get through the tour because there was so much to see in 3 hours... I'm like, okay then let's stop at the stuff people want to take pics of and blow off the rest of this crap. He also zoomed by and barely slowed down long enough to take a photo of something other than the back of the hand of the person sitting in front of you... the hand that was still there because they didn't have time to take a pic either. The driver also talked about Obama and Clinton the ENTIRE tour. I lost count at 8 stories. (This is not an exaggeration.) (Owner denied this could be true... ask anyone else who was on this tour... and I'm sure he uses these stories consistently.) I'm not a staunch anti-dem, but this was simply ridiculous. If Obama ever comes to a sudden stop this guy's head will end up mid-colon or so. Surgery might be necessary. Anyway, I would try a different one if I were you. Tries to pack in too much." (Owner also said they never wanted me to book with them again... lol, pretty sure I wasn't going to?)
