Dr Marks took over the practice from the much loved Dr. Dreksler, who would have only sold his practice to someone with the same caring values that he had as a local dentist for decades. Some of the staff have been there for years and it's so nice to be greeted by name by friendly faces. Free parking right in front, flexible hours and payments (big bonus for us non-insured entrepreneurs). Dr. Marks has fixed one of my fillings 'under warranty' as it was under a year before it fell out. He just did a no-cost checkup even though I would not have been surprised if he had recommended a couple of fillings. But just knowing that he's looking after my teeth and bank account, is high praise AND I love going to see them. It's a friendly office with great staff. So you know you'll get great service. I was referred by my partner who has been here since he was a kid. The dentistry team here are friendly and family oriented. The same dental hygienist is usually cleaning my teeth. I like the consistency because they know your teeth and tolerance when it comes to cleaning. I don't know who else feels the same about dental cleaning, but I find it therapeutic. What makes it better is when you look up to the ceiling light you will see pictures of clouds and/or hot air balloons. Today I started my Invisalign treatment. When I felt painful in my gum around that tooth 6mth later, I called the office and the receptionist was very nice to book me a consult on the same day. The assistant took the X-Ray free of charge. Dr Partnoy explained my X-ray thoroughly and confirmed my bone healed well. He advised me to get a crown instead of the permanent fillings, which was the same reason as what I expected. I was referred to Endodontic Specialists by Dr. Robert Feeley of Downtown Dental Centre for a root canal. I simply can't recommend Dr. Glen Partnoy highly enough. He was very professional, straight and to the point. He explained the diagnosis thoroughly in terms I could understand and prepared me for the procedure. All in all it took less than an hour. Dr. Partnoy prescribed me pain meds but honestly I have felt no post-op discomfort of any kind. At then end of the day my insurer Manulife only designated eligible $934 out of $1355 for the root canal fee. They only pay the prevailing rate for a dentist to perform root canals as opposed to a specialist. For me I will be going to Endodontic Specialists everytime--it's worth it!
