Truly thankful for the fact that Rhonda picked up the phone one late night, after I had a family emergency. She took my reservation at the last minute and kept me updated about my pup, so I didn't have to worry. From that point on, Rhonda has been our go-to for a few hours of doggy daycare, to a bath, to a three week-long vacation. She has been so good to all my dogs, I believe they really do have fun there! Definitely suggest giving her a call to set up a worry free day for your dog.

It's not easy to leave your pet somewhere you trust but Ray and Rhonda's place is my dog's home away from home! When we go away for vacation or get busy, Cami always has good time when she is at the North Paws Ranch! With a lot of dog themselves and years of dog experience, Rhonda is one of the best dog handlers I have ever met. She is also certified in Animal Behavior and training. This makes me feel comfortable to leave my dog with her when I am busy! Besides my dog knows when she is going there and RUNS in without looking back :) She comes home 100% tired and happy.

Rhonda and Ray are the best. When I leave my dog with them I know that they will care for him as if he was one of theirs. Their home is always clean. You would think that the home wouldn't be with all of the dogs but Rhonda is a neat freak. All I have to say to my dog is "Do you want to go to see Rhonda and Ray?", his tail starts wagging and he's ready to go. If you are looking for someone to care for your fur babies while you are are away I highly recommend Rhonda and Ray

I'm so happy to have found North Paws Ranch for our German Shepherd. Rhonda was super friendly and knowledgeable and immediately put us at ease. Rhonda stayed in contact with us and sent us pictures of our boy living his best life! I will never take our dog anywhere else because leaving your dog at Rhonda's North Paws Ranch is like leaving your beloved pet at your most trusted friend's house where you know they will be loved and cared for. Thank you Rhonda and family for taking care of our big baby like he was your own. We will most definitely be back!

Mr loves to go to North paws ranch. Some of the pictures he was having fun at the pool with all the other pups that were there. He loves Ray and Rhonda. Thank you for looking after my baby the way you do.

3 happy clients.

I am truly the fussiest, most neurotic pet mom on the planet. And Rhonda accommodates every one of my needs, never mind my three babies' needs. I have been utilizing her services for several years and never a problem whatsoever. She is wonderfully accommodating as far as pick up and drop off times, extra requirements, etc. I would be truly lost without her services. Thanks Rhonda. You are a dog parents' dream come true.

Took my Koa T. Dog to Ronda's oasis. Had never used a sitter before and was apprehensive. Ronda was amazing, easy to talk to and the communication during my Koa's visit was top notch. Koa got to make new friends, went swimming, and was exhausted when she got home. Definitely recommend North Paws Ranch.

Our baby usually gets separation anxiety but I felt so comfortable leaving her with Rhonda. This by far has been the best experience ever. I was moving back from California and had to board out puppy for 3 nights ! She kept me updated and never let a text go by without answering. Saint was able to learn how to swim and relax and become more social !!! I'll forever and a day use her

Our beautiful girl is 1/2 husky, 1/4 german shepherd, 1/4 border collie, and it's absolutely worth the money to get her groomed than attempt to do it ourselves. They do an amazing job and are super fast. $90 is what I've paid both times and that price is VERY REASONABLE compared to other places I have shopped around. The ladies at the front have been nothing but kind and assured me that she would be in good hands. She is a little anxious, so they very generously gave some calming treats for free to try to see if that would help as other treats have been unsuccessful. If you haven't been to K-9 Country, you and your pet are missing out on a great experience!

After searching high and low for a place where I could bring my pups without feeling stressed or worried about their well-being, I finally found K9 Kountry. My dogs go there for daycare and absolutely love it. I never feel stressed leaving them, knowing they are in good hands and enjoying themselves. Although we haven't tried the overnight boarding yet, I can wholeheartedly recommend their daycare services. If you're hesitant, like I was initially, give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

They reached out to me within a couple of hrs after drop off and explained what was happening. They were willing to still work w/him and keep him overnight but I chose to have my sister pick him up instead. They were really caring and their number one priority was Yogy's well being. The fact that I can watch him through the cameras is a huge plus but I wouldn't have known how bad his stress level was if it wasn't for the team's attentiveness. I really appreciate the team for attempting to work with my baby. I would 100% recommend Barx Parx!

I had really high expectations for this place because a friend had recommended them and apparently…read morethey were voted one of the top daycares. But after the third visit, my dog came home injured and passed out for the entire night, which I don't think is very healthy. I got mixed responses on why he might have come home with a limp that lasted about 4 days in the end. It made me think that they weren't watching the dogs properly and there's very little down time for these dogs. Since I can't trust them to watch my dog and make sure that he doesn't get hurt, we've moved on to another place. By the way I've been to several other daycares in town and this never happened so having it happen on only day three of coming here is pretty concerning. Plus it should probably be a red flag that any place charges extra for you to watch what's happening on a webcam so you know what's happening at this place. That would have been very helpful for me to understand what happened to have to keep my dog at home for 5 days to recover.

Veterinarians have a tough gig. They have to diagnose patients who can't speak for themselves…read more Imaging and bloodwork can help a great deal but not everyone can afford those tests. All I have ever expected from Veterinarians are solid competence and empathy for the animal and caregiver. Dr. Jessica Hagstette is one of the few Veterinarians who ticks both boxes. Very experienced, very compassionate. I only use Dr. H and cannot vouch for the other Vets in the practice. She has great Vet Techs who also exude competence and kindness. The front office staff are so kind to everyone and treat each person like they are the only client for the few minutes they spend with you. I adopted an 8 year old dog from a hoarding situation here in town and I truly believe Dr. H is the reason I was able to enjoy my dog's company and give him the life he deserved for another 8 years. Time is never long enough with pets but I am so grateful to Dr. H and Camino Al Norte. i continue to drive 40 minutes from the other side of town because you can't buy trust. And speaking of trust, on the financial side it is clear that the compassion I get from the staff extends to their billing practices. I have always found their charges fair and reasonable. When I have used some other Veterinarians for specialty care I have ended up feeling used and abused, potentially okaying procedures for my dog that should have never been done. I adopted a puppy after my last dog passed away and hopefully she will live out her life being cared for by Dr. H. The only thing they ask for is patience, and not everyone has time to wait, occasionally for quite a long time, if the staff is running late. But trust that the lateness is because they extend that same care and concern to everyone. If your pet has a medical emergency just call them before or during your commute to give them a heads up so they can triage.

Pet Owners & Animal Lovers -- BE AWARE…read more If you value clear communication, consistent diagnoses, and transparency in veterinary care, you may want to think twice here. "Don't ask questions." That's the message we received -- not directly, but through how we were treated. When we tried to clarify contradictory information, Dr. Hagstette labeled it as "arguing" instead of doing what any professional should: explaining. Even more concerning -- don't expect consistency. Across three visits, we were given multiple, conflicting diagnoses, each followed by new (and expensive) recommendations to "rule things out." Let me break this down: Visit #1: We brought in our cat, Simba, for nasal drainage. We were told definitively it was caused by a tooth issue requiring extraction -- no "maybe," no "could be." Estimate: $647-$1,016. We were given antibiotics and sent home. A few days later: Simba got worse -- not eating, hiding, extremely congested. Visit #2 (with Dr. Hagstette):Visit #2 (with Dr. Hagstette): Now we're told it doesn't look like a tooth issue at all. Completely contradicts the first diagnosis. Instead, we're advised to do bloodwork ($180) before proceeding with surgery "just to be sure." Same antibiotics sent home again. Visit #3 (where everything changed): We show up on time -- only to be told 30 minutes later our vet "just went into surgery." We were nearly pushed aside due to their scheduling mistake. A tech then tells us Simba now needs X-rays (~$500) to rule out a fungal infection -- something that had never been mentioned before in any visit. When we asked to speak to the vet for clarity, Dr. Hagstette finally came in -- and changed the explanation again. Now the X-rays weren't for fungal infection, but to check for pneumonia and other possibilities. So which is it? To make matters worse, when we questioned these contradictions, we were told: "I don't want to argue. I'm very busy." Let's be clear -- asking questions about your pet's health and thousands of dollars in recommended procedures is not "arguing." It's responsible pet ownership At this point, we had been told: Tooth extraction was the cause (up to $1,016) Then it wasn't -- do bloodwork ($180) Then X-rays ($500) -- which might show nothing And possibly anesthesia afterward to explore further -- which also might show nothing That's not a treatment plan -- that's expensive guesswork. We even consulted another licensed vet online, who pointed out basic diagnostic steps that were never performed and questioned the logic behind the X-ray recommendation entirely. Meanwhile, Simba was actually improving, which further contradicted the fungal infection theory (which typically does not improve with antibiotics). Bottom line: The professionalism and bedside manner we experienced during the first visit disappeared quickly once we started asking questions. What we were met with instead was dismissiveness, inconsistency, and a clear unwillingness to explain. We later found multiple reviews describing the same experience: Contradicting diagnoses Escalating costs with unclear justification Poor communication when questioned There are better vets out there. Vets who will: Give clear, consistent explanations Walk you through why something is being recommended Respect your right to ask questions Avoid throwing expensive procedures at problems without a solid diagnostic path Your pet deserves that. And so do you.
