I was surprised when my credit card was charged (for a very large amount) without any notice. If they treat all there business like this I would strong stay away. This is a quiet well maintained family owned Marina right in Manhasset Bay. The Mechanic and Manager has been there a very long time and is excellent. While he is fairly young he has the skills of Mechanics of old, who can build parts, redesign boat manufacturers mistakes if required. He can goes way beyond just the engine and transmission on repairs of any sought on all boats. The owners are always on the premises for service and needs as required, The docks are very secure and the Marina is in a very safe area, when storms occur. Parking is close to the ramps and available 99 % of the time, I have been in the same slip for 30 years with two different boats and never found a reason to change and haven't had any incidents in all that time. Toms Point doesn't have a Restaurant but in walking distance there plenty of different type Restaurants, fast food, gourmet,super markets, Pizza places and on and on. So if someone is looking for a slip in Manhasset Bay I would recommend this Marina a place a calm spot with friendly management as well as friendly boaters. B.C

It was last minute her plans changed for my birthday weekend. She was trying to kill two birds with one stone. From Queens, the drive was about 30-40 minutes. We checked in around 3:00 pm today. Steve (the owner) surprised us with some good news. Phew, he found someone to book our Saturday night. We were relieved. Wow, a breathtaking view of Manhasset Bay from our room. There are complimentary hot/cold beverages and snacks by the hotel lobby. Also, don't forget your complimentary breakfast. Our room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. I love the rainfall shower heads. The perfect spot for stargazing was sitting on the deck. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much, Steve and Cindie! I highly recommend Fathoms Hotel and Marina!

He assured me that he could evaluate and repair it within that period. When I called him back within a couple of days he was quite nasty and said that if I was impatient I could come and get the engine. I decided to wait. After eight days I returned to the yard and found the engine in the same place that I left it. It had not been touched. When I spoke to Pat again he said that he told me that he could not look at it for at least two weeks, a flat out lie. I am not unhappy to have returned and I did take the engine back. I feel that if he so blatantly lied to me about the repair he was not trustworthy and a person I was best not dealing with.

I…read morerecently gassed up a usual and the bill was about $180.00 I gave the Dock hand my credit and noticed an additional fee. Well it is the law passed by Cuomo whereby business can add the Credit card fee onto the customers charge card. I have experienced this in very few places and those that I frequent I mention I don't like it, don't punish me in your fight with credit card companies. I will not be using Manhasset Bay for gas in the future and I don't want to remember to have tons of cash in my pocket so I can avoid these charges. When I get small charge's in various business's I use cash but large purchases it is a pain, you have zero record and protection. The business's who add the charge are not doing anything wrong, it is a business decision and fair, but we don't have to accept it and can turn the dial. Nothing against Manhasset Bay they are doing what they feel necessary to stay in business and turn a profit.

I couldn't successfully search for this store on Yelp…read more I was looking for fishing line for a non-fishing application (bird deterrent) and my father remembered going to this store ten years ago. It's in a nice Port Washington shopping center with ample parking. The store is clean with many different products for boating, but also fishing. At Kmart you can buy 150 yards of fishing line for $30. Here you can buy 280 yards for $15-16. Looks like we have a winner. And the employees are friendly and very helpful. I'd go here more often but I don't have a boat and I don't fish.

Again, very accommodatable, wagons to move your bundles from parking lot to your boat. We rented 21foot Grady white, great hull, 4foot nose into waves, not a splash over the gunnel, no wind, flat day on the Sound, bow riders stayed dry and no pounding! We had four people but just as good for six. 200HP Yamaha POWER PLANT. THIS PUPPY DINT MISS A HEATBEAT! Took us a couple of times to figure out the power of this engine as with my skier getting up. Lot of torque just as your coming out of the water and then power up pulls the reigns out of your hands. Gotta go slow at that point on the throttle. I have to say that I'm pretty critical of boat brokers, I've been boating my whole life, have a good handle on what I'm looking at, what my needs are and all of that. With that said, I have little patience with brokers that do not know what they are talking about; many don't of course. However, meeting Mike I have to say that he was great to deal with. Mike was fair, honest, motivated and responsive. If I reached out he was quick to respond. Mike was a straight shooter and didn't BS me. I'm old and have been around for a long time and can typically pick up on the BS fairly quick. Mike was easy to deal with and his office staff (Nicolette) was just as great to deal with as well. I have no complaints with these guys, they were a big help and I appreciate it. Here is one example of Mike's dedication, on a Sunday, not too long ago, Mike flew in from vacation, got in his car and drove straight from the airport to meet up with me so that I could see the boat for the first time that I eventually bought. Went and saw the boat and in less then 2 weeks did the Sea Trial, paperwork, picked up OUR Crown Line yesterday, and now it's home in our driveway. Tim was ABSOLUTELY the BEST Boat Broker to work with EVER! Everyone at the Marina, and I mean EVERYONE we spoke to all say "He's such a nice/good guy" and he really is. He went far above and beyond to make this workout for us in a timely manner. Then helped us modify our new trailer to get her home! Mark and I are so thankful, grateful and appreciative of all Tim did for us. We are so looking forward to Spring of 2022 for us to begin the next chapter of our lives together as Boaters. Rick gets you out on the water immediately. You will have fun practicing what you need to know. Honestly, in two 3 hour sessions he taught me to undock, maneuver around the marina & dock my 30 foot boat in high winds. Capt. Rick did not waste any time. He just smiled, he inspected the boat & he had steer the boat out to get on with the business of piloting. We went all over the marina doing all kinds of manuveers. He just stood next to me, smiled, and he calmly told me what to do while waving at the people watching us. We practiced until I could do it all with confidence.
