My journey with toc for hip surgery began in November of 2025…read more So far I have experienced a tremendously large quantity. Of technical and tactical lack of proficiency. I've seen turkey shoots that have a greater quantity of professionalism coordination and interaction with customers. I do not know if I was the first patient assigned to this so-called coordinator. But I do know my experience with her has been horrific. Communication is terrible... I have been strung along for no reason other than a lack of job knowledge Causing Constantly pushing my surgery time back because of their lack of communication with information written in black and white. That they have possessed from the beginning. If I did not already have 3 months and a pile of insurance charges for test. I would go somewhere else. So far my experience has not been good at all.. But when you only have one or two options in the area. It pretty much narrows it down to what you can or can't do. Kind of like dealing with the IRS. Damned if you do damned if you don't. Damned either way. Maybe one day in another 7 weeks I will get a surgery date. As I mentioned before I've been dealing with this since the middle of November 2025. Today's date is March 9th. 2026. Dealing with Dr durgan staff. Has not at all been a pleasure. But as long as they're getting their money. They don't care. You know the old saying apologies for no change? Well that's called manipulation. And they manipulate very very well.

My appointment was on time and Dr. Hewitt and his staff gave quality care and attended to my needs…read moreefficiently.

I'm so thankful I found Dr. Russo. After 6 months of pain, I am finally receiving the care, support…read moreand encouragement that I needed. Back pain and stabbing upper leg pain made it difficult to walk to the point of needing crutches. In search of relief, I went from a massage therapist to a chiropractor, to an orthopedic sports doctor where I received an x-ray, a cortisone injection and a PT prescription. Improving but not solving the problem, I later had an MRI and an epidural injection. After having little success in relieving my pain and stiffness, I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Russo. First, he requested my x-rays and the doctors' reports, so he knew exactly the treatment I needed based on his knowledge, skill and experience. Dr. Russo has taken the time to explain and educate me, so I understand my problem, something I felt no doctor or physical therapist had done. I feel that Dr. Russo and I are a team, and I trust him to share his skill and knowledge to coach me to a healthier future. PS: I played pickleball for the first time in 6 months!

I found Dr Russo after researching the best chiropractors in Tallahassee who specialize in vertigo…read more After a few sessions, my vertigo was gone, and just as importantly, has stayed gone. He has also remedied my lower back pain which has positively impacted my flexibility and overall health. He ia highly skilled and the best chiropractor I've seen. I've referred several family members who are all thrilled with their improvements, including ulnar nerve damage, shoulder impingement and neck issues that resulted in tingling and numbness. Instead of going a surgical route, Dr Russo has fully fixed several issues for us and demonstrated there is a better way to address some injuries. His approach is smart and he is highly skilled. He has made a tremendous difference for each of us and we will continue to recommend Dr. Russo. His care has truly been a game changer.

Aug 25, 2025 I was at Radiology associates on August 14th of…read more2025 for an Arterial Doppler to be done which was ordered by my healthcare provider. Turns out Radiology associates does not do this ultrasound test, but they took my "vague assessment" that the provider gave them, and decided that they could do a totally different test and bill it to my insurance company. Radiology associates did not contact my provider to let them know they do not do Arterial doppler's . and when I came in for the test they did not tell me, that they do not do Arterial doppler's. The ultrasound director just decided that there was "another test" they could do instead, much more complicated and very uncomfortable for me as a patient, and I'm sure it was more money for them and according to them, they were able to "bill it to my insurance company." Radiology associates was committing Fraud in doing a different test than was ordered by my healthcare provider, and not telling them that they could not do the test ordered by that provider. Not telling me that they were not doing an Arterial Doppler, was UNETHICAL. I didn't know what they were doing, I've never had an Arterial Doppler done before! They demanded a co-pay, they sent out a bill to my insurance company, and when I found out what they had done, I immediately contacted them and said I wanted my co-pay back, and the insurance company was going to be notified by me that the test ordered was not done. Now I'm waiting 13 days later, they tell me to call the 3rd party billing office regarding where my refund was, and the billing office knew nothing about a refund. they said they needed 6 days to INVESTIGATE this refund and then they would get back to me! In the meantime I have to go to a different physician's office TOMORROW to get the Arterial Doppler done that was ordered, and pay another co-pay to that physician's office for this test and I don't have all this money to be paying for tests that were done, that shouldn't have been done, and I'm furious! They refuse to send me ANYTHING IN WRITING OF COURSE, SHOWING THEIR CULPABILITY. So, make sure when you go to Radiology Associates in Tallahassee Florida, that you are getting the test that your health care provider ordered, and not some other "billable test" that they feel like doing, in order to get some money in their pocket!

I'll start off by saying that I've been told Radiology Associates do a good job reading scans,…read morewhich is obviously important. There isn't much else they do well, though. I need CT scans every six months to make sure my cancer hasn't reappeared. My scan was good last July, so my oncologist placed an order for another one in January. When I saw my oncologist a week ago, I said that I still hadn't heard anything from Radiology Associates about the CT scan. She placed the order again. Today I realized it had been a week and I still hadn't heard from them, so I called their central number and chose the automated option to schedule an appointment. I waited a pretty long time on hold. When my call was finally answered, the scheduler had no problem finding my records but said that there was no order for me. I named my oncologist and told her the order had been sent twice. She put me back on hold for quite a while. When she came back the second time, she said that she had found the order -- and, indeed, my oncologist had placed it twice. Okay, so why has no one called me to make an appointment? She started looking for appointments in February because she said I had a follow-up appointment on February 14. That isn't true: I do not have any follow-up appointment set because we're waiting for that CT scan, and I pointed out that the odds of having a follow-up appointment on Saturday seem pretty low. The scheduler agreed that seemed unlikely. She therefore asked me when I thought the appointment should be. I said I was told back in July that it would be in January. She therefore offered me an appointment in late January at 3:00 in the afternoon. Okay, I appreciate that she tried to get me in before the end of the month, but I can't eat before this scan, so 3:00 is pretty late in the day. She found a more suitable time in early February and said she added a note that this was at "patient's request," as though this later-than-expected scan was fundamentally my fault. I'll spare you the other minor issues about her mixing up days and the exact tests I'm getting. I really think she was doing her best, but her best was not especially good. The fundamental problem is that this place is like the Bermuda Triangle for test orders: this has happened to me enough times that I am no longer surprised when Radiology Associates drops the ball. At least this time it's just a routine scan that presumably will show I'm healthy, whereas in the past they lost the order for my scan prior to a long and difficult surgery, which was literally a life-and-death issue. I use Radiology Associates because I have to, not because I want to.
