It was clean, driver was nice and price was fair. Second day the cab was yellow cab and so raggedy and bumpy I thought it might break down. Instead of going staying on Jefferson and hitting Mercury he jumped on the highway making it a much longer ride, got off on the wrong exit going the wrong way!!! What should have been a 20 dollar ride was a whopping 32. 50. Clearly I got ripped off.

Haphazardly placed items in the front passenger seat (cookies, sweaters, etc) and an interior that has clearly seen plenty of use and most likely incorrect cleaning. Left a kind of unclean appearance to the whole taxi, which equally felt a little unprofessional. (Lots of ceiling stains for some reason?) However, it got us from one place to another; though my wife said afterwards that she felt like her seat was loose, as it wobbled when the taxi took turns.

The first cab driver was a bit on the slow side. It took him a few minutes to think of a restaurant to recommend to us in the city, and when my cell phone rang while he was talking, he didn't seem happy that he was interrupted. He also used a pretty derogatory slang term to describe some of the ethnic population in Norfolk and didn't have any receipts to give us when it was time for us to pay him. The second cab driver was awesome. He was driving a fully loaded Lincoln SUV with motorized doors to gain entry into the back seats, he was knowledgeable about the area and was well spoken. He earned a nice tip and we took his card in case we needed another taxi at some point over the weekend.

We arrived safely and he said that he preferred if we'd pay in cash. We did. Two stars. The car was clean, the driver was nice and no hitches. The price was around $2 cheaper than my normal taxi fee. I tipped off the app. I have used both Lyft and Uber with similar good results.
