CAUTION: Deceptive Omissions, Concealed Damage & Zero Post-Sale Support
Do not trust this dealership's word or their provided vehicle history reports blind.
I purchased a 2024 Ford F-150 from North Country Ford of Jasper, dealing with sales reps Kyle Jett and Brandon Esch (Baby Bean). During the sales process, this truck was represented by their team as a completely "accident-free" vehicle, heavily backed by a clean CARFAX report they provided to induce the sale.
On top of that, they verbally promised me they would be fully helpful and supportive in handling any complications or issues that arose post-sale.
That promise was entirely empty.
Two weeks into ownership, I had the hood open to disconnect the battery terminal so I could replace a light. While inside, I discovered hidden internal front-end collision damage. The headlight housing itself is cracked, and every single critical mounting bracket is entirely sheared in half from a previous physical impact. The entire housing is structurally compromised and is only being held in by a small plastic push pin and tension from the front grille trim.
This concealed impact directly explains the slightly misaligned front bumper present at sale.
While a buyer should always perform a thorough check, I made the mistake of trusting their word, their professional intake inspection standards, and the clean CARFAX. This is a severe violation of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108 (which mandates securely mounted, legal headlights) and the Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act. A vehicle in this condition should never have passed a professional dealer intake inspection.
Since discovering this damage, I have reached out across every single communication channel. I have sent high-definition physical evidence via email, followed up with text messages, and attempted direct phone calls with voicemails. I have been met with absolute silence. Zero help, zero response, and zero accountability from General Manager Gregory Anthony and his sales team.
Once they take your money and you drive off the lot, their "promises" disappear, and they will completely ghost you--even when it comes to selling dangerous, non-compliant vehicles with concealed structural damage. read more
