Dr. Megan is an tremendously bright, knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian. We have multiple…read morecats and dogs and she's shown even the most difficult of our pets kindness, compassion and patience. When a horse farm near us closed it's doors, we found ourselves feeding and watering the unneutered barn cats. So as to help us control the feral population, she neutered/spayed the cats we caught, treated them for flea/tick infestations and notched an ear (for itentification) for an amazingly compassionate price. Additionally, she's just as caring toward the human owners. When one of our dogs developed a very difficult case of diabetes (his daily fluctuations were several hundred glucose points even on insulin), she made herself available to us readily while we sorted out testing him using a glucose meter and developed a food recipe without complex carbs that controlled those fluctuations. Her staff is all competent, capable, kind and compassionate as well. I also have to mention that her prices are extremely reasonable. If you are looking for a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and exceptionally well priced veterinarian, you need look no further, Dr. Megan is all the aforementioned, and much more.

Was called and told that they don't think anything was blocked and she would be fine. The next day, she was much worse. Was a Saturday, their office isn't open so called Rolling Hills Animal Hospital and explained the situation. Their response? Yeah, it's pretty likely that she is obstructed and we don't have the capability here to do a surgery for that anyway so please take her to a higher care animal hospital. We did, $8000 dollars and a bowel resection later she is great. Called Hampstead vet and asked Dr Megan specifically if they even have the capability to treat an obstructed bowel--NO THEY DO NOT. There was absolutely no reason to have ever made an appointment with us after I explained what was going on; OR to take X-rays and give fluids when you couldn't even do anything to help her. If they ACTUALLY cared about your pets they would have told me to take her to a higher care animal hospital from the start and they could've found and removed the Nyla bone clump from her belly with a scope procedure instead of an invasive surgery.

Lakeview was the only one able to accommodate us with a morning appointment. Very calming environment with friendly staff made for a great experience for Scout. It turned out to be a simple sprain that was treated with a pain reliever, so it was a relatively inexpensive visit. Five star experience.

Wow! I've been to several veterinarians over the years but nothing compares to this vet. From the…read moremoment I made the appointment I felt like a valued client. As soon as we walked in and were greeted and asked if we wanted water, soda or hot coffee/tea, I felt this was a different type of veterinarian. This is a relatively new practice and everything smells fresh and clean. We were shown into a room and a vet tech came in to get some information about my dog and the reason we were there. Next the operations manager came in to say hello and meet us and see my adorable dogs. Then the doctor came in with the vet tech, we talked and she weighed and examined my dog and gave me her thoughts while holding each of my dogs so the tech could cut their nails. I had several questions which I had asked other veterinarians and the answer Dr Laura gave me seems to be spot on and is already helping and making a difference with my dogs and her paws. I am happy to have found such a good practice, and also a very reasonable first visit. My dogs are seniors so our visits are typically expensive and this was very reasonable. I'm glad to have found this practice and it being close to home makes it even better. This seems to be a family owned practice and I happen to love those type of businesses. Highly recommend! You won't go wrong making an appointment here for your pets.
