Dr Tia and staff are excellent. She removed a large mass from my dog. She's very good with my dog and I highly recommend them.

Our pets heath quickly declined after moving to this veterinary clinic. Both ended up passing away terribly with a great deal of suffering. Nobody at the clinic seemed to care one bit. read more

The vet is very inexperienced, we lost 2 dogs under her care. One being a young dog. She mishandled the entire situation and we paid alot of money for her to say she didn't know. This place is certain death for your pets if they need anything more than routine shots and check ups. Avoid this vet! read more

This is a death camp for pets. Stay Far Far Away! I had to put down 2 of my dogs within 8 weeks if each other due to the lack of experience this vet has. She incorrectly treated an illness in one and aspirated a lump which should have been treated as an infection. I watched my boy suffer for 10 days and tried everything. I ended up in the ER with him the same night after they "poked" his lump which the assistant suggested. The lump grew from a ping pong ball size to a baseball size after that. The ER doctor gave him some antibiotics which in 3 days reduced the lump. However, he COULDNT F@$&ING BREATHE!!!!! WHY IS THAT?!?!?! Because they should NEVER have aspirated that to begin with! I lost the love of my life because of their negligence here! 10 years out of vet school is hardly long enough to open your own clinic to "Practice" and experiment on peoples family members. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! She lets her assitants and techs make too many decisions that SHE should actually be making. Every day is emotional trauma for me because of this place. I wish I never ever would have come here. They hurt my family more than I can ever explain. read more

Dr. Kastenson has been our family vet since May 2021. We have always been treated professionally and courteously by Dr. Tia and her staff. She really does have the pets' best interest at heart. When a pin (inserted by another vet) in my pup's front left leg started migrating and working its way out, she had the tool and knowledge to remove it to make my pup walk normally again. Many vets take the pet to exam in another room because 1. that is where the equipment is, and 2. to take the owners' fear/anxiety out of the equation. People should find care providers they trust and that's not the responsibilty of someone who is doing what they think is best for all the parties involved. read more

My friend has gone there for almost a year now for her rescue pets. Had great experience with Dr Tia UNTIL last Wed when I accompanied her with three of her dogs for a scheduled appointment. We were there for three French Bulldog fir wellness check's, updated shots, and for the SR dog for Dr Tia to look at her ear cuz she had a hematoma even tho she had hematoma surgery on that same ear. HOWEVER, the Dr Tia went to State Fair and left a substitute to take her appointments for that day. My friend never got a call about a substitute vet. Had she done so, my friend would have switched appointments because the main reason we were there was for a follow up with Dr Tia who did the surgery. The appt went south real bad. The substitute vet came in screaming she was not going to prescribe Prozac fir the dog we brought in for behavioral issues, we needed to get him neutered and separated from the female dog that was in heat. Both may have been true, but she literally screamed at my friend and insinuated we should not have rescued him, that he should have been euthanized. when called to complain Dr Tia would not even allow my friend to explain what happened. Steer clear of this vet business. There are much more ethical and capable places to send your fur babies to! read more

Always has been great when i go for my cat checkups. They are very nice and i can tell they care for the animals. Fair price too

Had an apt. on 4-20-23 with Tia Kastenson (TK), N Cape Corner Vet for my Pom who is almost 13 yrs. old and has a severe heart condition. (She is currently on 3 heart medications.) Apt. was to check an anal gland infection. The gal who showed me to the room, said she was going to take my dog to a back room for the vet to examine. I said, no I'd like the vet to come to this room. The vet came in, saw that the infection was active and said it needed to be flushed out. She then said she wanted to take the dog to a back room to do this. I said I prefer my dog not be taken away (due to her severe heart condition, I feel this is too stressful for my dog whose health is so compromised) and for the procedure to be done with me present so my dog would feel more secure and comfortable. I've seen this procedure performed several times in the past. TK told me that was not her "policy". I said I didn't care about a policy, I cared about my dog and her very compromised health condition. I told TK that in the past, I had the same situation with a different dog: that dog also had a severe heart problem, was taken away to another room, was brought back to me in great distress. It took us approx. 15 min. to get home from that apt.; when we got home, we found the dog dead in her crate. I told TK that this Pom is my dog, and I am in charge of my dog, not her. I also told her that the other vet I see, works with me and cares about the health of my dogs in situations like this. She then told me "then take all of your pets to a different vet". She also said "we'll cancel your apt. for the following Monday" for 2 of my other dogs. I don't think any customer (or animal) should be treated or customer talked to in such a rude manner. I feel the pet owner has a right to decide what's best for the pet in this kind of situation. It's stressful enough for a pet to be at a vet's office, let alone, be taken away by a stranger to have something (that could be painful) done to them. I already lost one pet in the same exact situation, and I didn't want to take the chance of losing another one! I feel it was very inconsiderate of TK to handle this situation the way she did. After all, shouldn't a vet's first concern be for the well being of the animal and not her "policies"? She never did flush the infection out. CUSTOMER BEWARE!! read more
