At 3PM, I contacted him and he said he thought was 5PM. Good thing the message still there. Then, he asked to reschedule to 7PM which I agreed. At 650PM, I messaged him and he said he is 30 minutes away and later said he just noticed he was missing some parts and will come tomorrow. I immediately cancelled his service. Then, he removed his ads right away. Be aware of this untrustworthy person and think twice before you go with him. Not sure how he has such a positive reviews.

I told him that I hadn't purchased a new TV yet and he advised that he could not only source one for me but was able to book me in for that Friday. When I decided on the model I wanted, I texted Alberto with the details and he got back to me immediately. Not only was he able to provide the model I requested, he offered me the next model up at a nominal price. Alberto showed up on time and performed the installation quickly and professionally. Once it was installed he showed me a few features and made sure everything was compatible with my current set up.  Alberto was respectful of my home and took care during the whole installation. Having my TV stop working was such an unexpected inconvenience but Alberto turned this whole experience into such a pleasant one. Our installer was a nice guy, but the overall service and experience wasn't great…read more I may have misunderstood our initial agreement, although in writing, but the install cost slightly more than agreed upon. The hidden wiring looks a little sloppy with a self drilled hole in the plate cover and not a professional plate cover for hidden wires. Noticed the face plate wasn't even straight and later noticed the tv wasn't securely attached to mount. As well on both occasions the installer didn't clean up very well, resulting in cleaning after each site visit. Noticed a number of new scratches and smudges on the new white walls. Does the mount work? Yes. But not overall impressed with the quality of work. If I could do it over again, I would pay the different for higher quality service, I feel I could have done this level of quality on my own but wanted an insured company to perform the work.

He asked for a security deposit to secure a 10am-11am appointment for the next day. Out of good faith, I agreed and sent him an INTERAC transfer. At 1030am day of the appointment, with no sign of, nor message/call from him, I texted "where are you, what is your ETA?" No reply. I texted again at 1230noon and he replied "delayed and will arrive in one hour." By then, I had a bad feeling already. I just replied "you should update customers even with just a text if you'll be late so theyre not just waiting." So this went on and on until I had to leave for a family dinner. To be honest, had there been no downpayment, would've just canceled. Then at 3pm -he found out the TV was 85 inches (he never asked to begin with), I agreed to pay for the price difference and he said he will arrive 530pm because he needs another person. By 535pm, I asked him where he was and he said he was still in downtown, waiting for the other guy. Again, no communication whatsoever! With today's technology, this is INEXCUSABLE. Truly UNPROFESSIONAL with absolutely NO RESPECT for other people's time. I told him I was cancelling and to just return the DP, its been 24hours and he does not even have the DECENCY TO REPLY! Looking at majority of my past reviews, I try to be positive and support small local businesses but... this guy really takes the cake. Well, obviously, NEVER AGAIN.

They arrived wearing masks and gloves and were very careful with social distancing. There is a tiny gap between the vanity and the shower frame in my bathroom, which had been…read morecollecting dirt and dust and is very difficult to clean. I decided to call Mr. Handyman and have this problem resolved once and for all after months of frustration. I originally wanted the shower frame moved inward so it's flush with the base on the inside, thus making the gap wider and more conducive to cleaning. Steven, the handyman, suggested a more cost-effective solution of "filling" the gap by first taking off the glass and partially the frame. The gap and the outside of the shower glass that was unreachable were then cleaned and put back. Finally two pre-cut particle boards were fitted and siliconed to have the gap filled. The service was prompt and the handyman courteous and professional. I find the rate reasonable and would highly recommend it to anybody who have small renovation projects like mine.
