    I've been living at Remington Apartments for half a year and so far my experience has been great…read more There were many small issues like stuck windows and crooked drawers but the maintenance guy always responded quickly. I've had very minor issues with flies and wasps crawling through from the windows and balcony door, but since I am on the second floor, it's not a common occurrence. I opted for an Azalea Plus unit and the white countertops, stainless steel appliances, and wood flooring are beautiful. However, they could have been installed more professionally as I've found small gaps and damage on baseboards. Paint droplets are splattered across floor and carpet edges and are unfortunately unremovable. There is a a 5G tower right behind the apartments so T-mobile 5G Internet has been a better and slightly cheaper option than the 25mbps AT&T alternative. Neighbors are extremely quiet and there are few children at this complex. Packages have never been stolen. Some neighbors and delivery men are very kind and even brought my packages inside. The location is conveniently next to a nice business area with grocery stores, dry cleaners, bars, thrift stores, a Korean bakery, and two stellar ramen restaurants. The management ladies have been very kind and responsive. The windows and insulation could be improved. My main concern in general is the electric bill every month. Because the whole complex is electric only, the bills skyrocket in the winter for heating. I try to be conservative with my electricity use and during the warmer months I only pay about $30 in electric bills, but even in early winter so far it's already tripling. Rent is also quite expensive, but I hope I can continue living here.

We chose an un-renovated unit, so everything is a bit older with carpet and original appliances--but they're still in great condition! There are quite a few spiders, unfortunately, but pest control usually keeps them away for about a month after each visit. One quirky thing: while the units above us have fireplaces, ours just has a recessed space where one would be. It's a little odd, but we think it'll be perfect for a Christmas tree in the winter! The lighting is minimal, so lamps are a must. Maintenance has been awesome--always quick to respond and very helpful. The ladies in the leasing office are so friendly and welcoming; it's always a pleasure stopping by. Our building is kept clean both inside and out, and they recently repaved the parking lot, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we're really happy with our unit and the community. The staff here truly make a difference!

    Our New Home: Beech Pointe Apartments My wife and I just…read moremoved into Beech Pointe Apartments on the first of the month, and right away, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from our neighbors. In just one week, we talked to more people than we had in three years at our old place! The community here is incredibly friendly and diverse, which we absolutely love. Our first impression of the apartment was fantastic. I'm quite observant, so it was clear that whoever repainted the walls and ceiling did an exemplary job. The carpets and appliances were clean, there were no funky smells, and nothing was broken or missing. We were also pleasantly surprised to find nice-sized 4x4x12 storage units in the basement garage for residents to use and a beautiful pond with wildlife in the back, complete with a walk/bike path. The location is perfect! Jewel Osco, Tony's, and Valli Produce supermarkets are right down the street, and the Meineke Recreation Center, where we can do all our fitness activities, is less than half a mile away. We've already added a couple of great restaurants to our list, thanks to Sherri, one of the apartment managers, who recommended them to us. Speaking of staff, Sherri and Elli, who run the office, are fantastic. They are so down-to-earth and all-around nice people who made my wife and I feel very welcome. We also met a couple of members of the maintenance staff, Brian and Jason. Both are very friendly guys and were just in our apartment the other day taking care of two problems: the beginnings of a small hornet's nest outside our bedroom window and a faulty gas burner. They were very professional and came out right away. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision to move to Beech Pointe Apartments. The community, the staff, the amenities, and the location have all exceeded our expectations. I have a feeling this is just the first of many positive reviews I'll be writing in the future.

I see people not getting a return on their deposits & complaining here though I know 4-5 tenants who lived and moved out & had no complaints. You cannot get a better price & service on an apartment at the heart of Schaumburg downtown. We loved the time we were there. Excellent Staff & support. Only good things to say for the staff and apartment building. Sherry is the Best & if anything get broken or needs service they are quick to get it fixed ! If I ever rent again in Chicago Burbs, this will be the first location I will look for an apartment.

The apartment has old showers, the sink in the master bedroom constantly has mold growing in it and they have blamed me for that, apparently I was suppose to clean the mold too that constantly came back even though I showered the whole cubicle with bleach!!!! They took away our security deposit and they have charged us 900 dollars so they can replace the carpet. It's absolutely disgusting how they have sucked out so much money from so many people. I wish I had known this before. Don't sign a lease with this apartment complex. They've given me no choice but to pay, or a payment plan. They've also asked me to pay a cleaning fee!!!!!!! When I cleaned the whole damn apartment before moving out. Absolutely disgusting. Even in this whole pandemic this company has the audacity to take so much money from people. I am so outraged. Do not stay here.

    ANT INFESTATION Been living here for 6mo b4 seeing any ants…read more First glance of baby ants was from a hole in the wall by the dish washer. Cleaned and moped kitchens as usual no problem. A few days later woke up to an army of ants from outlet stretching from carpet to ceiling. Pictures dont show just how bad it was. Exterminator came out that friday and sprayed. A few days go by and this time the flying ants were in the carpet by the bathroom, the hallway light by bathroom, the eating area outlet and from a hole on the same wall on the step down. Exterminator (2nd time) had to come out on friday again and even he was surprised the first spray didnt kill them so he brung a stronger spray and used liquid bait on the outlet. As Expected then ants came out in even more in numbers but they died off. Well some did but i kid you not they were out like a 80's party. Even had a new location which was the front room outlet under window and on the wall and window...Everyday for the past month we had to vacuum these ants up and vacuum the carpet as the house is as clean as it should be. Now may be thinking that ants come out for smell, food and dirty house. Well nope, ants was no longer on kitchen floor after first sight. I dont kno why exterminator has to come out every friday but he does and still waiting on maintenance to fill the cracks in the wall.. When we first moved in we expected to be shown as the display but wasnt bc we had to get new stainless steel appliances and they had the audacity to say they had to charge us like we were told we would have this but thankfully they didnt. They changed out the old worn down appliances and in came the new. Also said place was clean but you know you always clean the new place but yea that kitchen was filthy, oily and so much residue (b4 appliances came). Kitchen lights should be on ceiling or on wall above mirror and im 5'10 so i shouldn't yell have the lights shining in my face every damn time.. Could have also been a better sink with more space..Uhh other reviews said bad management and a coworker told me he only heard nothn but bad management for this complex and the one next door

Now it seems like they just let anyone in. People have crap all over the balcony. The laundry machine prices keeps going up and up. The sauna stays broke in the women locker room. Love Matt and Will. Best people who worked in the office then they both got promoted and that's when everything went downhill. One thing I know for sure is that nobody ever get their full deposit back because they nickle and dime everything . They don't believe in wear and tear so they charge basically everyone for carpet repair. The increase I got in rent the last two years were ridiculous. I've never been late on my rent! It made it impossible to stay there. Then when it comes to the weekends nobody picks up the phone in the office. Packages started to go missing. After Covid they cheapen out on janitorial service. So hallways smelled and was littered. And lastly I was a few days late letting them know I wasn't renewing and was charged an extra month for rent even though I moved out 15 days early before I was scheduled to leave. I tried explaining that I didn't know if I would have a job that's why I was late telling them and there was no consideration of any kind. Just rudely told I needed to pay next month rent. On that note I wouldn't encourage anyone to move in. As much as I loved living there my last few months there was the worst.

    I dont even know how to start, I recently rented a 3bd 2 ba, 2500 sqt ft apart. Full baths, living…read moreroom, foyer, and dining room. Bumpy uneven laminate flooring, chipped or overly coated brand new paint, wall fixtures (mirrors, shelves, towel racks) are all new but GLUED to the walls. I had to email and speak with management to get my water heater turned on because my maintenance request was denied. My water was even hot enough for sanitary purposes. I had to have closest doors replaced for falling off the hinges ( i was charged for the door not being fastened to the wall correctly. They say you need to have a certain credit score, income, work history and no criminal background. But the hallways are full of kids smoking marijuana, dog feces/urine, or trash. They claim to have pet policies that are FULLY ENFORCED, but dogs use the restroom in the building hallways, the playground, near the gym, the pool, the front office, the parking lot and every single green are you can think of. Not only do you need to dodge dog feces, you have to deal with people who have animals int heir units they dont clean. Building 4720 consistently smells like a dog kennel from the other tenetants that live here. They let people throw their trash from their balconies, leave trash on the patios, leave trash on the play ground or out in the parking lot. They allow people to park broken down, or run down cars in spaces that are being paid for by people who actually use their cars. they expect you to pay full rent, but every other 3 weeks, my bathrooms fill up with backed up sewage, that maintenance will unplug, but its my responsibility to clean the up after. So its my job to pay full rent and anytime of the month I have to clean up the sewage back up from my WHOLE BUILDING, that overflows in my unit. Kids are allowed to write and graffiti all over the place, our laundry rooms are full of roaches, black mold, mildew and animal hair. We have to pay $70 for utilities, that includes water, trash, fees to charges for water and trash, pest control, and gas. My heater will and has never gone over 70 degrees, even in the subzero temps. Theres trash all over the place that the employees do not even try to attempt to clean or anything, so Im not sure who we are paying trash to, its all over the place. Same thing with gas, why are we paying gas when we cant even use our heaters appropriately?? not only that, our water heaters are controlled. They allow couches, canopies, grills, smokers, and other bulky and trashy items on patios and balcony's. People let their dogs defecate and urinate off of the balcony's onto patios below. This is place is full of very trashy people with unsupervised kids, tis full of people who steal mail, packages and anything you might accidently leave outside. Whats the point of asking for certain criteria to rent when you can clearly see they will rent to anyone who will pay the prices. This complex is a traphouse. Its located right in the middle of Rolling Ghettos This is hands down the biggest scam and trashy pit of an aparment complex. Its so bad that not one single employee actually lives here, no one from maintanence, no one from management.

They charge residents that are in a hardship program for bills even though that when I signed my lease I was told that I am responsible for light and Internet. Just do not even waste your time.
