I love walking around, checking out the booths, and finding new local treasures. One of my absolute musts now is a matcha drink from Honey Nitro + Cold Brew. I had never tried matcha before, but a friend recommended their version with vanilla or lavender, and oh my gosh, it was creamy, smooth, and totally addictive. I seriously didn't know I could love matcha this much! Pappa Thai's summer rolls are another go-to. They're fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot every single time. Light but filling and perfect for walking around with. And I can't forget Proud Pickles, they're such a fun little stand, and I'm absolutely obsessed with their items. Sweet, tangy, spicy, you name it, they've got it. I'm giving 4 stars only because I wish there were a few more vendors but I understand Gainesville is a small town. But honestly, it's still such a lovely experience and totally worth checking out if you're in the area.

The market features local farmers with fruits and vegetables, local baked goods, artisan foods, prepared foods, meats and fish, cut flowers, plants, crafts and more. They have quite a bit of local produce but things not produced in the region or out of season are shipped in from elsewhere, just like any other grocery. The citrus, peppers, squash, and potatoes selection was especially good (in early Decemeber) and they have local cane syrup (from two different producers!), honey, and jams, jellies, and more. Of course, also fresh eggs and Nettles' sausage, as well. Supposedly when it's watermelon season this is THE place to come for your watermelon!

The breading is thick and maybe a little undercooked. It's not crispy as it should be. I think the ice cream in the cobbler is soft serve vanilla. I've had their fried peach pie and that is the real star of the show. I will stick with that going forward. They also sell several types of fruit and produce. I 100% recommend their farm produce.
