The nurse played phone tag with me for a week then called me after hours from the Spine Institute and told me to call her back as soon as I got the message and both businesses were closed and my business was not even with the place she was calling me from. This was the third time of phone tag. The staff are surly and rude and zero explanation is given for procedures. It's a shame Dr Kilpatrick cannot hire better trained staff. And don't try to call to leave a message for the nurse because you will be on hold for over 30 mins to even leave the message. Understaffed and poorly staffed.

I transferred from the cardiology professionals at Ochsner over to Louisiana Cardiology Associates…read morebecause I heard the service was better at LCA. Never have I made such a terrible mistake. The nurses and doctors at LCA would not return phone calls. Their switchboard is over loaded and generally it takes about 15 minutes just to get the operator on the line. The line will drop without warning. Once you get the operator and ask for the nurse, you are place on hold again or get the nurse's voice mail. There is no point in leaving a message because they have not given me the common courtesy of a return call. Since that did not work, I tried their web site and sent several messages. To date, I have received ZERO responses. I do not think anyone checks the messages. For something as serious as cardiology care I cannot understand the absence of timely, professional communication. I would not and cannot suggest anyone use this clinic. The level of professionalism is abysmal. Look elsewhere for your cardiology care.
