The house was in complete disrepair so we took everything back to brick & restarted from scratch; new electrics, plumbing, both side return and loft extension, new front & rear gardens & all new plaster & refurbishment works throughout. Artan and his team (Nick, Jimmy, Bash) were excellent. They were so respectful to our neighbours too and went the extra mile to keep them happy, even scrubbing their path after each day after they complained about the dust being trodden into their house by their buggy. I am currently a couple of weeks in to the build process with Abbey Lofts for our existing loft…read moreconversion removal and then extension incl new Ensuite, and during this time I have gotten to know the team pretty well. Rob is managing the build from the office, he always returns calls if he misses one, Fred (who writes the responses on here) is the the technical guy and knows his business well, and has come up with good ideas to improve the space and keep the build ticking along. The lads on site daily, have been courteous and clean, the scaffolding, shute and skip mean the garden is always tidy. The only thing holding up our build is the Oct wind and rain, mean we cannot remove the temporary roof. So far I have no concerns with the rip out (which I knew was going to be a nightmare due to the 90 years of abuse the house / plumbing and electrics have sustained over those years, the schedule of work is good and the staff are easy to talk to. The director has not called once to hassle me about anything and Im not sure I'll here from him at all. There is a 6 stage payment schedule of which we are at stage2, so no one should have ever paid all the money up front, as mentioned in one of the other reviews. Thus I can't agree with any of the 1 start ratings. Ill write another review once the work is complete.

(Why do people do that). I'm self employed too, so appreciated to extra mile Howard went to get the job done.
