Although Norfolk News is quite a tiny shop, the sales clerk was busier in the even tinier staff area at the back, and I managed to remain undetected throughout my short browse. Items available here included newspapers (mostly displayed outside the kiosk to maximise on walking space), magazines, greeting cards and postcards. A few tables set up just outside would make for a nice reading break when the weather gets a bit nicer.
Inside the shop, there are several British and Brighton themed souvenirs - figurines, badges, and stuffed toys. A bit expensive and lame, but good in a pinch, I suppose.
Behind the counter are a random selection of toiletries and emergency items: batteries, headache medication, chewing gum, and the ever popular - rubber bands. There's also a few snacks - chocolate bars, crisps and soda.
Not a bad place to stop if you're passing by Norfolk Square and fancy a read, a snack and a rubber band to keep your purchases in order. read more
