I broght my daughter there , and because of a medical issue, we had to get information from a doctor. They went out of their way to do what needed to be done. Everyone was kind and considerate. One woman coming in was very embarrassed because she had vomitted in the lobby, and they came right out and assured her everything was ok escorted her to one of the offices and cleaned everything up quickly. They showed alot of compassion, and when the woman came back, it was clear she felt a little better and more comfortable about the mishap. These things go a long way with someone who is coming into a facility to try and help themselves. Counselors and the women working in the office made it a point to ask people how they were and try to make their wait more comfortable. As for the person who had a problem with a fax, it's unfortunate that because it wasn't received in "2 or 3" minutes that they would feel so unhappy and disillusioned but, in reality, with everything they do there, you can't expect people to forget about everyone else. It takes a little longer for someone to find someones file, get the info needed, and fax something. You have to be realistic about these things. Had to get a drug screening record for my Uncle at Good Samaritan. They said they were faxing the info over and after 40 minutes it still wasn't here. We called them and only after getting representatives voicemails finally somebody was reached and stated we had been here for almost an hour and nothing was faxed. They said they would fax it over "right now" and we are still currently waiting after another 30 minutes of it being "faxed" which only takes about 2 minutes and maybe 5 with having to get it from records. An absolute disgrace of customer service and just making somebody wait when it's a very simple task. read more
