It is very hard for me to eat out and most of the restaurants I have eaten at prepared their dishes on the premises and only used fresh ingredients! The Wood Kitchen is absolutely wonderful. There is a clean, fresh friendly warm ambience when you enter. Signs in English and French. Lovely clean polished wooden floors. Excellent quiche, salads and house dressing! Everything prepared on the premises. The owners and workers are friendly and very laid back. Open to conversation, Lovely environment! All of their ingredients are super fresh and they have a large selection to choose from. If you can think of a typical ingredient you want on your salad, they probably have it. They offer a variety of desserts if you feel tempted to splurge after that healthy salad. But their salads are big, so wanting a dessert won't be because you're still hungry. Their prices are reasonable and they are open late. Of course, they are! All restaurants that serve dinner in France are.
