    This was once 10 to 3 years ago the bear Peking in the area. Then when taken over decided to…read moreeliminate MSG from the recipes it went down hill and in July 2014 taken over yet again. My kids took me here for my Birthday Lunch. ( all you can eat for £ 12). The food had improved but with the exception of the new Chinese owner, who was a happy sweet man, the staff had clearly learnt their skills in an undertakers. We are not frequent Resturant eaters but like Chinese and this is the best and most reasonable one locally. In 0ctober this year it was wonderful to meet some communicative staff with smiles and a better command of English. My son now gets all his takeaways from here and also that they have become confident enough to raise prices. I am writing this because I am appalled at the few, bad years old reviews that are here.

I took my family there for a celebratory meal, the food was very ordinary and average, certainly not restaurant quality, and when we queried it first with the waitress then with the manager they said there was nothing they could do so not particularly helpful or apologetic. Felt ripped off after paying over £100 for dishes which turned out to be essentially strips of fried chicken in sauce which could have been bought in a bottle from a store, I've made better at home. Save your pennies and don't bother.
