I had no idea what this process would look like, but I cannot have imagined the design changes that were made. Very grateful to Dennis, Bobby, and their friendly staff for their hard work! Thank you!

I was referred to Westside Fence by my CPA thru others referrals. Westside Fence is owned by Tim…read moreAlfortish. Tim learned the business working with his father whose business was established more than 50 years ago. It's the best fence service I've seen in more than 3 decades. The business is really busy this time of year, so you might wait a half day or a day to reach him, but it will be within 24 hrs. Tim, certainly kept his father's legacy, name and establishment well respected. When Tim Alfortish came for the estimate, I was very pleased. He made me feel he was happy to have me as a new customer. He wrote all and everything I wanted and listened to the issues facing us. The husband and wife contractor team that came out was the best I've ever seen operating in the city. Duane( contractor) have been with Westside Fence for 50+ years. Duane started out with Tim's father. Duane's wife(contractor) is a long standing asset to her husband. The way they worked together and to have every part of the job synced, is not only awesome as it is hard to fathom. They work with the property borders and made sure to keep property lines as they found them. Pam has every bit of Duane's moves covered, for what he needs in the process, and also her own jobs assigned, as part of the building and development of their product process. Their young intern,Eric, is exceptionally skilled and he is so fortunate to work under Duane and Pam. There was nothing he couldn't do that was required of him. Te professionalism he is being taught under is a position to die for, for any young man or woman. OK young ladies, don't go hog wild over this beautiful specimen of god's creation. OOOOOh doggie! Duane and Pam gave me a time for every day that they would arrive. Talk about prompt, I had no time to put the second eyebrow on, when the call would come in from Pam "we're here". I was elated! I just had to keep winking until I went inside so they couldn't notice, huh, whachoo saaay gurl, Dat'right, dats how top o'the line this company is, ya'll. Duane and Pam's eyes are so blue, Ah thought ah was in dah Bahamas ya'll, uh huh. I didn't have debris left in yard, everything was left clean, the gate and fencing was superb, the old overly damaged fence was removed, new and beautiful fence was put in back into place, replacing the damaged fence, and I was truly relieved and pleased. Duane and his wife and crew worked from the time they arrived, until, the time they left except for a brief lunch. Duane had everything he needed to do the job. I can recognize his work now, all over this area. Call Tim Alfortish for an estimate, tell him where you heard about them. All you new residents to Nu'Awlins , you now have the info. I think you will love the people and the service. The price was market price, the quallity of material was very very good, the finished product was the best. And a great finishing time. Secondly, I asked David to do the chainlink for me, gave him the footage and he gave me a price we agreed on. Calls me the day he's supposed to show up saying his auger is broken and he needs money to fix it. I said cool give me a little while and I'll send some once I get to the bank. In the midst of that, he shows up to the job and the first thing he tells my client (infront of my concrete sub) is that he's so broke and needs money and he doesn't know how he's going to finish the job. Mind you an hour hasn't even passed since the initial phone call. He puts in 15 of the 30 posts then tells my client the jobs 50% done and that he needs $1800 to continue the work and feed his family because his wife wrecked their car, yada yada. He continues to text and call my client (who didn't want to give him her contact info) begging for money, as well as from me. I had to fire him from the job because he literally would not stop contacting the client begging her for money when he wasn't even halfway done his portion of the job. As I'm sure anyone in here who does actual work would know, you receive a material deposit and the rest on completion of the job. My client is a nice lady and would've given me money to pay him but the first words that he said to her was that he's so broke and needs money and that made her feel uneasy and genuinely she didn't want them on her property any longer. After I fired him from the job he decided calling me and threatening me was the way to go, saying he's going to show up to my house, go tear the poles out at the clients house, etc. That being said, I don't owe David $4,000, not even $1,000. He showed up and worked for maybe 4 hours. I've had the same subs for YEARS and had no problems thus far. This guy is an actual maniac and needs mental help.
