US expats here from Louisiana, so obviously we couldn't pass up an opportunity to try a Cajun in Buenos Aires, AR. I walked in with my family not knowing what to expect being so far from home, so here's my opinion. Interesting little "hole in the wall" kind of place that as others have noted spills out onto the sidewalk like many little restaurants in BA do. A good judge of any Cajun restaurant IMHO is how well they make a gumbo and in particular the roux. Generally speaking it was OK, I give them a grade of B, obviously I've had better, but being 5000 miles from NO, I'll give them that much for the effort. Now the chicken on the other hand was as good if not better than anything I can get at home. If this were just a chicken place alone they'd do just fine. Beer was excellent as where the various sauces. So it's worth the trip if for nothing else the awesome fried chicken. read more
