Customer service personnel are condescending and replacement parts take forever to get to you and will the replacement parts arrive in a decent condition? Boxes are over packed and weigh in excess of 80+ pounds. The UPS guy can't lift them and just pushes them off the truck. My husband had to help the driver. We are patient people. They were both very warm and friendly and even happy to let both of my daughters have a treat for the shop cat. Lots of lovely pottery was for sale. A good amount is made in house, but about 30 other artists also sell their wares at the shop. There were many pieces we would have loved to have brought home or purchase as gifts. The pieces were not functional, practical, or enjoyable to look at and both of the ladies that had worked there for years were no longer working. I cannot imagine why the new creator of these pieces thinks that anyone would want to display something so ugly in their home, let alone use such pieces when entertaining guests. Eyeballs on everything?!? Leave the abstract art for the walls and go back to creating beautiful functional pottery like Lisa and Sherry used to make! The atmosphere was cold, almost like the shop worker was irritated that I was browsing. I never experienced such rudeness or saw tacky pieces before Mr. Ayers retired. I feel like a lot of the merchandise would make good gifts for Easter or Mother's day too. My favorite part of the store was the antique cash register. They absolved themselves of all responsibility for assistance in getting the sofa repaired. Flexsteel warrants their springs for a lifetime, but after Waters gave us the name of a technician to contact for the repair they refuse to assist us further. We are contacting Flexsteel directly, but believe Waters should provide more support.

The sales people are low pressure and extremely willing to take their time with you in helping with your decision. We purchased two leather sofa's and a chair. The furniture was delivered late Sept 15'. We noticed when delivered that the furniture (sofa's only) had a distinct odor. One more than the other but the chair was fine. We thought the smell would eventually fade, thinking it was part of the manufacturing process. After 6 weeks, we could still smell the odor. Our family would come over and mention the smell. I called customer service. I thought this would be a huge fight after reading reviews from other furniture companies. However, not this one! Karen stated that they haven't had any complaints until now. After discussing the issue with Karen in customer service, it was decided that they would replace the sofas. We just received the sofas today and so far, no distinct odor. They were unwrapped from the truck in my driveway just as the originals were. We love the furniture and I feel the company made it right. There is no way they could have known about the odor from the original sofas as they were brand new out of the box from the truck then unwrapped and moved into our living room. It was nice that they stand behind their products and their customers. I would not hesitate to purchase from Waters Furniture again. Thanks Karen... and Waters Furniture! Keith
