I will never return to Big Brand Tire, and I strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else…read more I made a 9:00 a.m. appointment the day before and was already sitting outside on the curb when the employee who ultimately handled my vehicle arrived. For management's reference specificly, he was not wearing anything that identified him as an employee. His appearance was not the issue. His attitude and the way he handled my appointment were the issue. Between this description, the appointment time, and my service records, management will know exactly who I am referring to. There was no professional introduction, and the interaction felt disrespectful and unprofessional from the beginning. He seemed embarrassed that I was there waiting before he arrived, and it felt like his ego took over from that point forward. When he pulled up my appointment, nearly everything written in the notes was incorrect. By the end of the visit, he presented me with an estimate for more than $800 in supposed repairs. The amount seemed outrageous, and the entire situation made me feel like I was being taken advantage of. I declined the work, asked for my keys back, and paid more than $100 for the oil change they had already completed. I immediately drove across the street to SM Tire and asked them to inspect everything Big Brand Tire claimed was wrong. They checked my vehicle and after a multipoint inspection everything was fine. They rotated my tires, treated me with respect, and handled me like a valued customer. The difference between these two businesses was unbelievable. I left Big Brand Tire feeling frustrated, disrespected, and pressured into repairs I did not need. I left SM Tire feeling respected and confident that I had received an honest assessment. SM Tire was quick, responsible, honest, and reliable. They have earned my trust and all of my future business. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and questionable repair estimates. Skip Big Brand Tire and go somewhere that respects its customers and earns their trust.

Before the gentleman pulls my vehicle inside he says, "just so you know, your probably gonna need new cam bolts for us to do the alignment". Ok.... How can he tell that from looking at the front bumper? I leave my car there wait for the call when its finished. An hour later I get the call, I need all new camber bolts. $160 total added to the bill. Yes, I authorized it since I knew it needed the Alignment, but felt odd since what he said earlier. Jobs done and I go to pick it up. Now I gotta run my credit card through 2 transactions... And each transaction is with a 3% surcharge for cards. But the bill was written up on one invoice, not two. Figured the alignment shop and tire shop are separate businesses or something. I asked about the bolts and he says "yeah, they were bad" but didn't offer to show me the originals. Ok, no worries. I've been to this shop in the past when the older gentleman ran it, and probably will return in the future since I support small businesses, but the pre-emptive cam bolt calling out, plus 2 CC transactions at 3% each seemed a little off.

I called Timo's on Wednesday to inquire about some Lexus parts for my wife's car and said I'd be in…read moreon Saturday. She had hit a road hazard in the dark on Hwy 1. The impact destroyed the driver side fog light and it's wiring to connect it, the plastic and fabric wheel well arch liners on the front and rear driver's side, and the front alloy wheel got scraped up badly. There was ZERO paint/body/mechanical/structural damage to the car. ZERO. When I arrived on Saturday morning, I spoke to Maribel at the front desk and said I needed some Lexus parts. She immediately said "Oh, you called a few days ago" and she reached over to a small file box on her desk and pulled out a sheet of paper (among the many pieces) and referenced the information from our call - I was blown away that she had recorded the info and kept it close. Maribel said yes, they have the car I need for parts in a nearby lot. She called a team member who came back about 30 minutes later with the car on a forklift and he set it down right near the office/entrance. I removed all the parts that I needed from the front area of the car and another team member had to return with a forklift to lift the rear of the car to get the remaining parts I needed - that process took probably 45 min. for someone to come and lift the rear of the car. The forklift driver removed the parts I needed in about 7-8 minutes. In total I paid $172 for all the parts I needed. The body shop wanted $4,500 to repair the car. Yes, you read that correctly, $4,500. I restored the car to original condition. The whole process took about 2.25 hours at Timo's with a lot of standing around and waiting for help to move the car around. They are busy and I understand. Was it worth it? HELL YES! Thank you Maribel and Timo's! I'll be back if I need more parts.

We had a great experience with everyone in the service department at Trailer Hitch RV in Nipomo…read more Admittedly, it had been far too long since we'd brought our trailer in for an inspection, and the service team did a wonderful job walking us through everything that needed attention. They were patient, helpful, and didn't even make fun of any of my very dumb questions! They kept me updated throughout our trailer's stay, which I really appreciated. When we were finally able to pick it up, they took the time to walk us through a few simple items and made sure we understood everything. After we got the trailer home, we did have one issue with the barn door coming off its track. I contacted them, and they immediately offered several options -- either bring it back at our convenience so they could fix it or receive a refund for that portion of the work. We really appreciate a company that stands behind its work and makes things right when there's an issue. A big thank you to Javier and the entire service team for taking such good care of us and our trailer. We'll definitely be back
