When I dropped off my winter coat while visiting my parents for the holidays, I first witnessed Tammy yelling at an elderly man (around his 70s). He was calm, polite, and clearly upset. She raised her voice at him, scoffed, and told him "good" when he said he'd take his business elsewhere. I should have walked out then. Tammy told me my coat would be ready by Wednesday (New Year's Eve). I double-checked because I was leaving Florida early Friday morning and needed my coat. She assured me it would be ready. Wednesday morning, I returned and was told my coat was not ready--and that the conversation "never happened." I was then informed the coat had been sent out and might not be back that day, even though the shop would be closed the next day and I was assured it would be ready any time Wednesdays. Tammy said she'd call me. She never did. I called twice, left a voicemail, and received no response. I had to leave town without my coat. When I called later to ask what happened and request my coat be mailed, Tammy accused me of lying and claimed she had called me--using my exact story and flipping it back on me. She blamed me entirely, refused to take responsibility, and even said she didn't think she could mail my coat because it was "my fault." When I mentioned legal action, she hung up on me. My mother later picked up the coat in person and Tammy attempted the same dishonest defense with her. This employee showed a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic human decency. No apology. No refund. No accountability. Just yelling, blame, and gaslighting. Please take your business elsewhere. No customer--especially seniors--should ever be treated this way.

My recent experiences have been the complete opposite of what I once respected about this business. After returning back to Florida, permanently this time .... with a bag full of dresses that needed to be dry cleaned I was required to prepay due to an incident from over five years ago when I unintentionally forgot to pick up clothing before my return back to CA. . I understand policies around unclaimed items and take responsibility for that. What I do not accept is the way this was handled. From that point forward, the treatment I received was consistently cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. I brought my clothes in multiple times after that, and every single visit carried the same unmistakable sense that I was not welcome. There was no effort to reset the relationship, no basic courtesy, and no professionalism in how a returning customer was treated. This was not a one time interaction. It was repeated behavior over multiple visits. People do forget items at cleaners. It happens. Most businesses address it, set their policy, and move on. Here, it felt punitive and personal, which is not how a professional business should operate. I paid in advance as required, complied with their (NEW) policy that they set JUST for me... , and returned in good faith more than once. Ruined both blouses that I brought in…read more Both blouses had pleated sections. I told the lady I was specifically bringing the items to a dry cleaner so the pleats WOULD NOT be ruined. They completely removed the pleats from one blouse and ironed wrinkles into the other pleated blouse. I took one blouse back for a redo. It came back with irregular pleats, not following the sewing lines. I tried to tell the lady and she walked away.
