The conference room itself was a standard mid size conference room which was very clean, temperature controlled and spacious for the 23 people we had in the space. We had a fair amount of requirements and the team was extremely flexible at supporting our needs. As well, the front desk team led by Karen was extremely professional delivering exceptional customer service for the weeks leading up to the event. I recommend Corporate Suites for anyone looking to rent conference room space in mid-town Manhattan.

Upon further investigation, I discovered that several websites feature Jay Suites. I found two different sites displaying two distinct prices, with a $1,000 discrepancy. I emailed Juda about this, and he said for us to opt for the lower rate of $1,080, which included a 50% discount (keep in mind that when we initially contacted Juda, told us to pay the $1,971, not knowing that we had seen cheaper prices). However, when I attempted to pay online, the discount did not appear. I reached out to Juda again via email regarding this issue, and he requested that I call him. During our conversation, he inquired about my budget, to which I responded $1,000. Another concerning point was his statement that he could not reserve our event at that price. It is important to note that his online rate was $1,080, plus a 50% discount. He then provided an excuse, claiming that since my event was on a Saturday, the cost would be higher. Remember, the website lists a price of $1,080 PLUS a 50% discount. My experience with Juda at Jay Suite felt very dubious and untrustworthy. He seems to attempt to extract more money from customers and does not honor the rates and prices advertised online. Exercise caution, everyone!

I really don't understand how someone gets hired, and stays hired in a customer service role, as an office manager and/or receptionist wherein they're the first person a client or customer sees and interacts with when they are rude. The fact that anyone would not understand this concept or expect friendliness (or at least not being totally rude to a customer) as a minimum requirement is baffling.

The communication was unprofessional, the process was disorganized, and overall it was one of the worst experiences I've had working with an event space. The owner was horrible to work with and came across very rude in multiple interactions, which made the situation even more frustrating.
