It stinks when you walk in and even worse when you opened any of their washers. It's honestly a shame that this is the only laundromat in Standish and these people should honestly be ashamed of themselves. This isn't the first time Whitney's has ruined my light colored clothes! If it's black and you don't mind secret mold stains this might be the place for you to do your washing but if you like CLEAN clothes after you pay to wash them, I'd definitely make the extra drive to Nixon's Laundromat in Au Gres, it's very clean there and believe it or not, none of my stuff ever came back ruined from there! I 1000000% will never willingly choose to do my laundry here ever again. Honestly if these people worried more about supplying the community with a decent laundromat instead of a back room virtual reality "golfing experience" maybe they could make the place half decent, but until then, mold stains it is!

They have your traditional top loaders - but also have multiple HD washers that will hold four loads, or six, or even eight. And - the machines take credit cards. (What am I going to do with the $22 of quarters I had been saving for this laundromat experience?) Dryers are in ample supply - also take large loads and credit cards. Although for 25¢ per 8 minutes - I used my quarters. Parking lot is large - plenty of machines - clean - great value.

You can tell that he cares a lot about his business.. I don't like some of the comments that are saying well " does he live there?" "his dog shakes next to the food." (did you take a second to ask why the dog is even there in the first place? It's a servers pet... and he has a name Whiskey). When I stopped by, I was a solo traveler just checking out the thumb of Michigan on my own time. I wasn't expecting much but was met with a great cup of coffee and a man just trying to make his small business something enjoyable ahead of me in line was a debt collector telling this poor man he is overdue.. I just want to tell everyone out there to please take a second and check out this one of a kind coffee shop while you're staying in the area

So I visited this place three times while I was home. They have washing machines that fit 20,30,40,50 and 60 lb loads and well worth the money. Every time I have been in I have seen what seems to be the owner and employees making sure floors are swept, machines wiped down, helping guests that walk threw the doors. Huge screen tv with couches and desks to work while you wash your clothes. And it's cute, never thought I would say that about a laundry mat! Thank you for having such a cozy, clean place to wash my belongings! Much appreciated! I want to add they have detergent to purchase if you forgot, they have an atm, and they have a change machine. The machines take dollar coins so if you dispenses too many coins, it is regular currency.
