My 11 year old needed to have 7 teeth removed in order to proceed with his braces. Our Ortho…read moresuggested Dr. Gold and we could not be happier. I was nervous taking him there after reading some of the reviews on Yelp. That being said, I couldn't be happier with the office. I'm going to assume that they may have changed office staff because I found them to be pleasant, helpful and accomodating. Same thing for the nurses/assistants who helped us out. Dr. Gold came in and looked at my son's scans and while he did speak to me on what he saw, he also took the time to sit and speak directly to my son to let him know what to expect. I freaked out when he told me that he was going to take all 7 at once. The day of the procedure, I freaked again when I found out I wouldn't be able to be in the room during the procedure. However, when Dr. Gold came in, he immediately put my fears to rest when he assured me he would talk my son through the whole thing and keep him informed of everything he was doing. 20 mins later, I was back in the room and my son was doing great. My son told me that Dr. Gold kept talking to him through out the whole thing and made jokes. Dr. Gold even called the next day to see how my son was doing and to make sure all was good! Thank you so much to Dr. Gold and his staff for a wonderful experience!

allowed this dentist to perform root canal on me!…read more subsequent pain beyond belief called several times and returned in personal least 2 times within days of procedure - tears!!!! dentist knew me for years and i've never been in this kind of pain!! and never cried in his office before. his best clinical advice was "wear your night guard". he only gave this completely useless and not helpful guidance. he had no clinical thought that something might be going on other than 'wear your nightguard'. i had to ask for a referral to another type of dentist. over $9600 dollars later, endodontist, oral surgeon and implant dentist and another dentist is making my cap which will take my total cost to over $11,000, not to mention what i paid for the root canal to sklarin dds!!!!!!!!!!!!! never got an apology from him either. no follow up either. i promise this was the worst dental experience i have ever had!! horrific infection on the nerve, required multiple drainings and i took all my antibiotics that sklarin prescribed.

Dr. Sklarin is a friendly, courteous man. Probably a great guy to go have a beer with, but don't…read morelet him near you if you need any serious dental work. Several years ago, he took over for my old dentist who was retiring. Around the time he took over the practice, he performed a root canal on one of my teeth. Within weeks, the crown was loose! But for about a year, Dr. Sklarin was unable to remove the crown and get it properly re-secured. For several years, I have put up with this wobbly crown in my mouth. Swollen gums, bad breath, and the ongoing anxiety of wondering what, exactly, is happening down below the gumline. Well, the crown finally worked its way loose, and my NEW dentist has explained that the post was always too short, and the root is cracked and has a raging infection. Now I get to pay an oral surgeon to extract the cracked, infected root, and then I'll have to have a dental implant. If you need more than a cleaning and maybe a simple cavity, STAY AWAY!!!

Dr. Torin Rutner did an implant for me early in 2025; my first implant ever (I'm 70)! He was…read moreprofessional, clearly explained the process, the number of visits and time frame until his part was completed. He answered all my questions and was personable enough that I felt I could trust him for a procedure that required skill & precision. This process involved drilling into the upper jaw ~ there is risk involved! My regular dentist requested that Dr. Rutner use a scan-able implant head; he complied, so when it was time to prepare for the permanent crown, instead of using the old school moulds, my dentist just scanned all the teeth in my mouth with a hand held device and sent it electronically to the lab who made the crown! It saved time and was much better than having one of those awful moulds used for impressions! The end result is a natural looking tooth, so I feel the quality and care was spot-on! In the end, the time frame he gave me was accurate. That is why I don't understand the poor reviews here; my experience with Dr. Rutner's office staff, technicians was excellent. The waiting room times were excellent. The longest wait time for one of my 4 appointments was 15 minutes. There was no problem with the billing. Everything was spelled out in advance, so again, I don't understand why others cited problems. I would definitely return to Dr. Rutner in the future if the need ever arises.

He numbed the area, then didn't return until 12:45--after I heard him playing with his kids for nearly an hour. He tried to place the implant, yelled at me when I moved during the procedure, then said he couldn't do it and just left. No follow-up, nothing! This guy is the worst! They ran out of ice too, so I left the office with some gauze that was it.
