The "DogTown…read moreRace" held in Washington, Utah, was well attended and the weather, although a bit chilly made for a great event. The race was well organized and the staff were great. Light snacks, water and protein bars were available to runners after the race, as well as tote bags. If you're looking for a 5K race you might want to consider attending a "DogTown Race,"which, are held throughout the year. Incidentally, I ended up taking first place in my age category and was awarded a Gold medal.

So deep in the back of the park, seems excessive to me. With any other park, the pb courts would be no more than a two minute WALK from the park entrance. Anyway, I visited here from out-of-state seeking a challenge, but the numerous people here were just beginners, so I couldn't get the challenge I'd sought. Friendly people, nonetheless. I played singles full-court with a nice man at least. And the park's name is an unnecessary mouthful. Could just be called Sullivan Park.

We visited Pioneer Park for the first time recently, and while it's definitely a beautiful and…read moreunique spot, our experience was a bit mixed . We didn't really know where to start when we arrived, and there wasn't much direction, so we ended up just climbing the first rock formation we saw. Honestly, if it weren't for a group of people ahead of us, we probably wouldn't have had any idea where to go. I was hoping to make it to the arch, but the climb felt a little too steep and slippery, especially with kids. We were carrying our three-year-old and keeping a close eye on our six-year-old, who was feeling a bit more adventurous than we were comfortable with in that terrain. We didn't make it very far in and mostly just stopped to take a quick photo so we could say we visited. It was also pretty hot, with the sun beating down the whole time, which made it harder to explore and enjoy the park fully. That said, the park itself is really nice, and you can tell there's a lot to see if you're prepared and know where you're going. I'd recommend going earlier in the day, bringing plenty of water, and maybe looking up a map or trail guide ahead of time, especially if you're visiting with young kids. Overall, it's a cool place, but we didn't get to experience it as much as we had hoped. Definitely worth another try with better planning!

Just wanted a different scenery out of Vegas. They also have a garden area. It is worth a drive! No entrance fee. Free parking and they have plenty different areas to park.

Hidden Valley Park is easily one of the best playgrounds I have taken my toddler to in the St…read more George area! It is tucked away in the back of a neighborhood area in the southern part of town. This playground features a huge, well-maintained play structure with tons of space for running and exploring. Compared to other playgrounds, it is also well-shaded. There is also a smaller toddler play structure, although that one does get a lot more sun exposure. Beautiful grassy areas and tons of trees surround the playground. It is also next to a covered picnic table area. There is also a splash pad that we didn't get to see this time, but hopefully next time we will! I wish we could have come to this park more than once. But it was a little bit out of the way compared to the other places we visited. But it is definitely worth including on your list of St. George playgrounds!

The town square has a myriad of things including some picnic tables, art work, sculptures, and music playing through some speakers in the nearby tower. While sitting there enjoying a picnic lunch a roadrunner decided to show up and it was funny to see some little kids chasing it. The bird was probably stressed but the little kids thinking they had a chance to get close it it was making me laugh. All we needed was a coyote (meep meep). There is a carousel, a splash pad, and lots of art sculptures. The area is lit up right now in Dec, with Christmas lights, and they are done pretty well. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby within 1/4 - 1/2 mile, easy to walk around. Check out my photos.

Best part is a playground with lots of things for the "Littles" to play. It has a good sized Bowery with shade , tables and garbage cans. There's a small basketball court with one basket. A bonus is a paved walking trail on the north side adjoining the park. It's never really to crowded which is so nice. It also has restrooms.

It's perfect for spending time with family, photoshoot, sitting and enjoy the views or just take a walk. I usually go here for a walk in the morning because it has a great path/trail, nice large pond with a lot of ducks, geese and swans. There are also a playground for kids, tables for picnic, and restrooms as well. I always have a great time with my family here at this park.

A walking/bike trail. Oh, and an amazing view of Zion and Pine Valley Mountain! The bathrooms are nice and very clean. This is a great park for birthday parties, pic-nics, reunions, play dates or to just stop and enjoy the views!
