She's an experienced nurse and doesn't hesitate to share the good and bad side to mold us in this career. She teaches so much more than the text book and thats what makes her so unique. She also teaches us in a way that makes it easy to understand the material. I have gained so much knowledge within this short period of time. I'll definitely recommend the school and all. Thank you Ms Candice

Their holistic approach equips you with the know how as well enabling you with the professional compasion to provide exemplary patient care. Their program gave me the credentials needed to land a great job at a physical rehabilitation hospital even though I lacked clinical experience. The program also gave me a complete foundation to build toward an RN-BSN. I would highly recommend the program at Career Training Center of Chicago. It's afforadble - with flexible payment options. It's a concise, concentrated program that will get you quickly into the medical field. It's in depth, high quality, and comprehensive which will put you a cut above other CNAs. And it provides a great foundation to build from if you wish to pursue nursing or other allied health fields. They easily earn 5 stars.

To say you could have knocked me over with a paper towel would have been an understatement. Wow. When I was attending B-school, it was located in old Stuart Hall which is part of the main quad area. I remember on cold wintry days, which were a frequent occurrence, we would sit in a cramped room watching "Oprah" (when she was poorer and fatter with Patti Labelle's old hair) while nursing a really bad cup of joe (in the days before Starbucks exploded). I couldn't wait to get out of Stuart the minute class was over and go to Morry's for a hot pastrami sandwich. But new millennium B-schoolers have this extravagant standalone building two blocks to the east. Adjacent to Rockefeller Chapel and the Robie House, it is a spectacular vision in glass and concrete designed by renowned Uruguayan architect Raphael Vinoly with an expansive atrium where students can spread out on comfy chairs in sunlit lounge areas. I am amazed at how lucky students are to have such a spacious, state-of-the art place to study and network. It made me want to go up to one and tell them how I had to trudge through the snow with my icicle-riddled muffler, but I was afraid he'd call me "Gramps". It's definitely worth seeing if you're in Hyde Park for any reason.

I do not know why there are so many who've had bad experiences, I can only speak to my own. Yes, ONCE I did wait on hold for a long time, but mostly I was on hold for only a few minutes. The nursing classes are offered by Chamberlain, the non-nursing classes are offered by DeVry. In both cases, the content was appropriate and challenging, yet not hard to manage. I originally graduated with an ADN 27 years ago from a state university. There was no problem getting my transcripts. I received numerous phone calls from advisors and was offered guidance for my path to the BSN. I have, and will continue to recommend the RN-BSN program to others. I am not saying that those who've written poor reviews are being dishonest, however, I believe that their's was the exception, not the standard. I am saddened that their FNP program is not accepted by NYS, or I'd be taking that as well.

From the start, financial aid information has been unclear and inconsistent. Aid amounts change, balances fluctuate, and explanations are often vague or delayed. Students are left to constantly follow up just to understand what they owe and why. Communication between financial aid, billing, and advising feels disconnected, and it is incredibly difficult to get a straight answer. What is most troubling is that students are allowed to remain enrolled while financial aid issues are unresolved, only to later be hit with unexpected balances, holds, or threats of course disruption. This creates pressure and fear around continuing your education and feels like a tactic that places the financial burden entirely on the student. Instead of proactive guidance, the process feels reactive and transactional. Policies are quoted without being clearly explained, and support often feels scripted rather than student-centered. For a school that markets itself as supportive and accessible, the reality is that students must constantly advocate for themselves just to avoid financial fallout. I strongly advise prospective students to: Get everything in writing Track their account weekly Question every balance change Be prepared for financial aid issues to impact enrollment Chamberlain may work academically for some, but based on my experience, the financial aid system creates unnecessary stress and financial risk. I would not recommend this school to anyone who relies on financial aid without being fully prepared to fight for clarity and accountability.
