Up until this time I hadn't not heard of Logic, and am just recently becoming more familiar with the area as a whole. With them being in a smaller plaza it might be easy to miss them, but there's plenty of foot traffic in this area so you can easy come upon Logic by chance as well. My first impression was "Man, this is a really nice spot", with Logic's clean and modern white color scheme, and the natural wood finish look of their benches; makes for great appeal. While they provide a large area for mat space, there's also a smaller gym/weights area behind that. So you both workout and or train. There's also a ice hangout spot in the main entrance area, where you'll notice a Logic swag area which is a nice touch when you first walk in. Talking with Chris (owner & main instructor), we learned Logic is fairly new and coming up on their 2nd anniversary at their location. But they appear to have a good foundation of students; adults & children alike. Overall: Logic was a great spot to train, with a very welcoming owner and team.

Coaches Patrick and Jenna were beyond friendly and were nothing short of kind and patient with helping my daughter as were the other students in her class. They offer a kids class 3 days a week for $150 a month - you can go as many of the 3 days as you'd like so you essentially could get 12 classes a month for $150. That is a great deal! They also offer plenty of adult classes and even an open mat day! The inside was very clean and had 2 separate sitting areas - they also have a huge gym area. We lived in Elk Grove and would drive the boys here, three days a week. The boys's dad wasn't very interested, but after time, he ended up appreciating us signing up. (He also became an instructor)! We had so much fun, and learned so much from other parents. We grew very close to all the families, traveled to all the tournaments and spent time with our kids. Over the years, the families started to fall, and most ended up getting divorced. Still the discipline that was taught, the accomplishments that were achieved, were a great part of being with the club. Thanks to the Takeda family, and all the sensei's past and present for dedicating your life to a truly great sport! Miss you guys!
