Up until this time I hadn't not heard of Logic, and am just recently becoming more familiar with the area as a whole. With them being in a smaller plaza it might be easy to miss them, but there's plenty of foot traffic in this area so you can easy come upon Logic by chance as well. My first impression was "Man, this is a really nice spot", with Logic's clean and modern white color scheme, and the natural wood finish look of their benches; makes for great appeal. While they provide a large area for mat space, there's also a smaller gym/weights area behind that. So you both workout and or train. There's also a ice hangout spot in the main entrance area, where you'll notice a Logic swag area which is a nice touch when you first walk in. Talking with Chris (owner & main instructor), we learned Logic is fairly new and coming up on their 2nd anniversary at their location. But they appear to have a good foundation of students; adults & children alike. Overall: Logic was a great spot to train, with a very welcoming owner and team.

The people there are helpful and patient and the instructor is just an incredible teacher with so much wealth of knowledge about the sport. I'm sure there are plenty of gyms that provide a great atmosphere for their students, but I strongly believe I am at the level i am because of the instructor's teaching style. 2 years in and I dont see myself ever stopping. This gym pushes you to work hard, improving your physical abilities little by little. It's great knowing I know some form of self-defense, especially as a woman. I feel stronger, safer, and more confident, and see the same confidence instilled within the kids that train here. Out of all the businesses and areas in Sacramento that I love so much, this one tops it all. If you're considering picking up a new hobby, or finding a sport to help you get more active and fit, I definitely recomend you check this place out. You can come in to watch a class for free and then try it out before committing to a membership. Come and try it out, especially if you're a girl

After doing a lot of research to find the right Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy as someone with…read moreabsolutely no experience, I was looking for a place that was patient, welcoming, and beginner-friendly. That's exactly what I found at Yemaso BJJ. From my very first email, Professor Marcos was incredibly responsive and took the time to explain how everything worked. Before I even stepped on the mats, I came in to observe a class. He introduced himself, welcomed me, and explained what I'd be watching. You could immediately tell how passionate he is about teaching and how much he cares about his students. Watching the class, I was impressed by how organized, structured, and well-run everything was. The academy was clean, the instruction was clear, and everyone--from the instructors to the students--was friendly and respectful. There was no ego, just a great atmosphere where people genuinely wanted to help each other improve. I signed up that same day, and now, three weeks later, I have zero regrets. Professor Marcos and all of the instructors have been incredibly patient, especially with someone starting from scratch. I've already made new friends, learned more than I expected, and genuinely look forward to every class. Whether you're looking to compete, learn self-defense, get in shape, or enroll your child in a positive environment, I can't recommend Yemaso BJJ enough. It has exceeded every expectation I had, and I can honestly see myself training here for years to come. If you're on the fence about where to train, do yourself a favor and give Yemaso BJJ a try. I think you'll quickly understand why so many people speak so highly of this academy.

If you're interested in training BJJ, this is a great place to start!…read more I wanted to pick up a sport this year because I was getting a little bored of the homeschool-work-home routine that I slipped into during quarantine. For whatever reason, I decided to pick up Jiu Jitsu just to learn something I was not familiar with at all. They let me try out a free class before committing and I do not regret it at all. If anything, I wish I would have found this place long before. I knew absolutely nothing about BJJ before coming in, I had just YouTubed a couple of videos before looking into gyms near me and I thought it looked intriguing enough to try out, so I did. Having no knowledge about it was no problem though because coaches Davin and David are very attentive, constructive, and patient. The culture of the gym is also very welcoming and everyone is genuinely helpful. I never thought I would be an adult picking up and sticking to a sport, but I don't see myself ever dropping this one and I'm only three months in. Every time I go to class, I leave satisfied. Very grateful to have found this place!

They offer a kids class 3 days a week for $150 a month - you can go as many of the 3 days as you'd like so you essentially could get 12 classes a month for $150. That is a great deal! They also offer plenty of adult classes and even an open mat day! The inside was very clean and had 2 separate sitting areas - they also have a huge gym area. My daughter loved the class and we will be signing up so she can attend officially! I highly recommend Capitol Jiu Jitsu!
