My first teacher was Mrs Dori who turned out to be one of my best‼ teachers I ever had. She will lift you up when u fall and she will encourage you when you feel exhausted. As you all probably know nursing program is not easy. Mrs Dori helped me to understand how to tackle my exams, how to think as a nurse and answer questions correctly. 99% of work students are doing on their own, but learning to critically think is never tough in the book. I have achieved my best results with all the lessons and tutoring that Mrs. Dori gave me If not her I would be struggling. She is one of the professors that loves her students and brings the best out of them. Mrs. Dori thank you very much for all the support and for all your kindness. I can not thank you enough my dear Dori. You helped me so much and you continue helping all your students that come to the program. Love you very much and may God bless your BIG .

I submitted…read moreinterest for LVN program- passed the initial exam test to see if you can even qualify to go there- told me i passed and could do the BSN program or LVN. I told them after thinking that i wanted to do the LVN program and got ghosted. Weeks went by and i called them and they told me to come in- so i did.. then they told me that if i paid the $150 for the lvn pre requisite required course that id have a seat in their program but id need to pay them $1900 within like 5 days from then. the $150 was to secure my spot. So i did.. then i paid the $1900 and i went through forms with them signing stuff with the enrollment rep and they didn't go over anything just told me to sign and go to the next page and sign again.. i had no idea what i was getting into. I end up doing the pre req course that's required for the lvn program. You need a 75% to pass the class and be eligible for the program but the instructor i got was indian and she was judging all of my assignments and saying my oral medical terminology assignments were said wrong then she'd send the "answers" in her words and she said it even worse than me.. my grade dropped so much just from having a bad professor. She accused me of using AI with no proof. I told them i wanted to stop the program mid way through and i wanted my money back as i was being accused of something i did not do with no justification. They told me i couldn't get my money back and that i had passed that deadline to be eligible to get my money back.. I HAD NO IDEA THERE WAS EVEN A DEADLINE AND THAT I COULDVE GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE THE ENROLLMENT REP RUSHED ME THRU ALL THE ENROLLMENT PAPERWORK. I ended up dropping because i knew id fail with the instructor i had. i went back and fourth with them for 2 weeks to see if i could get any type of refund. Their final answer was no. I do not recommend this school! it's a complete money grab! go to carrington or gurnik!! I wasted $1,900 and i'm literally barley making it by as is. What a sh*ty school!!! DO! NOT!! GO!! HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh also their CMA program is overpriced i became a CCMA for $1,200 in 3 months!!!!! Check out stepful instead of this crap pot.

So I attended a two day meeting in the conference room of this building. I have to say as a nurse…read more(I didn't attend UC Davis or any school in the UC system) this was a very nice building. You could tell that it was relatively new based on the structure. Besides the conference rooms there were rooms for nursing labs, which for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of attending nursing school, they're designed to give you somewhat of a realistic experience of what you might encounter while in an actual clinical setting dealing with patients/families/other providers. The facility was clean, temperature control was just fine, I wasn't hot nor was I freezing while in my meeting. In the conference room we were housed in its set up in sort of a pod formation where people sit in smaller groups of tables. One of the faculty from the university did have a specific term used for it but I don't recall what they called it. I was very impressed with the facility itself and the staff where also very helpful.

Some of their programs are heavily supported by grants and scholarships, making them affordable. The education I received in my masters program at BIMSON hasn't been perfect- it's kind of a one-size-fits-all approach with not a huge selection of electives. BUT generally speaking, the content is top notch and the professors are engaging, well prepared, and highly qualified. Sure, I took classes I wasn't especially interested in. But now, in my new career role, I'm well prepared because of each class in the MS-L program. Writing a yelp review seems like an oddball way to review a school or program, and I stumbled onto this accidentally while looking for something else related to BIMSON. When I saw the extremely negative review below, I felt inspired to balance out the low star count. I feel grateful to be a student at UCD, regardless of its few flaws.

I am a second year radiology student. I will be graduating in about 6 months or so! This program…read morehas been life changing for me. There is a lot of material covered, and you really need to stay on track. Be prepared to have no life for two years! It is 100% worth it. :-) My clinical rotations have been great! I have been placed close to my home almost every time. I think the furthest I've been from home is about 45 minutes. Which isn't bad at all! Be willing to be flexible, and ready for anything. It will be worth it! This is hard work! The instructors are MORE than helpful! If we ever need any help they are only a text or call away. For me, there has been a lot of positive encouragement. Although we are working through Covid-19 and being off campus for the moment our instructors still try to be engaged with us to keep our schooling somewhat normal while keeping us safe! We are so close to taking our final exam, and I am nervous but I know our instructors will ensure we have all the materials and guidance to get us through it all! They won't leave us to be on our own to figure it out alone. If you're able to stick with it, and push through , you can make it through this rewarding program. It has been a lot of fun, and I have met life long friends through the process. I can't wait to finally have my license, and I will forever thank my instructors who have helped me along the way.

Each time, I received the same generic, rehearsed email response. The program only accepts 24-28 students but allows over 100 applicants to apply, which feels misleading. On top of that, the admissions process is very frustrating--communication is poor, and it is extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone for clarity or guidance. I believe this school needs to implement better, more transparent admissions practices. I am going to purse a different school just wanted to leave a review to save people some time and bring awareness. :)
