The parking fee is now $18, which is ridiculous for an outdoor lot with no security. Their so-called "breakfast" is garbage: gas station pastries and cold cereal. I remember (pre-COVID) when this hotel had eggs, potatoes, bacon, and fresh donuts! Hopefully the new owners will read the bad reviews and find out that their former loyal customers have left for Hampton/Homewood/Home2Suites because they have nicer rooms, bigger TVs, better breakfast, and cheaper parking fees!

I walked into my room and all the lights were on. It was night time when I arrived so I'm glad they were all on. You need your room key inserted into this slot by the door to keep the entry light on at all times. Room has a fridge, microwave, dishes, utensils and sink. The room itself is a good size and very clean. Bathroom has a stand-up shower. Hair dryer provided. They have complimentary breakfast and free wi-fi. Loved my stay and wish I could've stayed longer. From the start, the front desk was incredibly friendly and patient, answering all my questions. When we arrived, the lobby was being mopped, and the hallways were being vacuumed as we headed to our rooms. The hotel looked and smelled very clean, which we really appreciated. We booked two queen bedroom suites with connecting doors. Each room had a pull-out couch so each room accommodated up to six people. The suites were equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, dishes and sink. The bathroom also came stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was included and offered hot options. One morning they served sausage, English muffins and eggs. The next morning, they substituted chicken for the sausage, which allowed us to make our own breakfast sandwiches. Both days, they had the usual options like oatmeal, yogurt, waffle maker, hard boiled eggs. The breakfast was good. Tea and coffee is available in the lobby all day, which was nice after a long day. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean and had a comfortable, homey feel. I'm honestly not sure why it has some of the lower reviews.

While not an exorbitant amount, it still smacks of the kinds of ridiculous nickel and diming that many hotels engage in recently. Cons: No USB ports in the room?! Hotel is fairly close to the sketchy side of town (homeless camp 200 ft from hotel). No cold bottled water for rewards members, no pool, no airport shuttle, carpeting instead of laminate flooring, paid parking, our thermostat was really glitchy and would not work. Added benefit: your hotel key gains you access to the Executive Inn and Suites next door. There you will find a small pool/hot tub. There's also a small bar that opens at 5pm (happy hour 5:30-7:30) and you can order food as well. A Monday night stay was $325 and they charge $17 a day to park in their lot next to Hwy 880, not in a garage. When I arrived at the hotel, if I recall correctly, I believe that I arrived early before the designated time to check into my hotel room. However, the woman at the front desk was nice enough to allow me to check in early into my hotel room. When I arrived at and in my hotel room, I liked my hotel room. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel room had a microwave (which I did not use), but was a great amenity, nevertheless. The hotel room had a safe so that I can safely and securely store my valuables, which is something key that I look for when I stay at and in a hotel. When the safe was not functioning properly, I recall that I telephoned the front desk, and the woman that I answered the telephone promptly addressed the issue, and an employee from the hotel immediately arrived at and in my hotel room to repair the safe in my hotel room. The hotel is a relatively short walk from an eatery labeled "Brotzeit Lokal." This hotel did also serve complimentary breakfast, which was a huge plus. As a result, in general, and overall, I had a very positive experience at and in and regarding the Best Western Plus Bayside Hotel.
