    Pee in the elevator
    Louis S.

Saw fresh pee in the elevator. But on a positive note, I did find some vegan blunt wraps in the lobby.

This place is disgusting. I stayed here because I work in Emeryville and did not feel like driving home since I stay in Sacramento. Anyways I woke up and I was itching in several places I thought I had been bitten by mosquitoes or something. I checked out about 7:30am since I had work. I notified the manger about all the bites and she said she could do nothing for me. As the day went along my arm begin to swell and those bites grew larger and larger. I went to Kaiser only to find out they were bed bugs. I called the manager again and she said what do you expect me to do. I was so upset here it is that the finds where bed bugs and she could care less. I only asked that she exterminate so no one has to go through this because this is nasty, painful, and it's violating that I spend my hard earned money for a peaceful night that I did not receive. Don't waste your time or money they need to be placed out of business.

    Bed Bugs!

I can't even begin to explain how disappointed I am with this place and the management. I've been here before but this visit has really changed it all. I dosed off around 10pm. I woke up around 12am, went to the restroom, and when I returned I saw something crawling on my bed! I looked closer and it was a bed bug! After I nearly died, I grabbed a cup from the bathroom to trap it. I looked to my left and there was another one! Then a baby one! I started shaking and packing my items when I looked down and saw one crawling on my shirt, I nearly died again! I knocked it off and there was another going up the wall...OMG, its infested! I went to the front desk. After he gave me attitude he gave me another room. Well guess what, MORE BED BUGS! I packed up once again and headed to the car. I went in to tell management and request a refund. They refused to give me a refund. ...now I have to take further action. I'm so tired of shady businesses

From the start, the front desk was incredibly friendly and patient, answering all my questions. When we arrived, the lobby was being mopped, and the hallways were being vacuumed as we headed to our rooms. The hotel looked and smelled very clean, which we really appreciated. We booked two queen bedroom suites with connecting doors. Each room had a pull-out couch so each room accommodated up to six people. The suites were equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, dishes and sink. The bathroom also came stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was included and offered hot options. One morning they served sausage, English muffins and eggs. The next morning, they substituted chicken for the sausage, which allowed us to make our own breakfast sandwiches. Both days, they had the usual options like oatmeal, yogurt, waffle maker, hard boiled eggs. The breakfast was good. Tea and coffee is available in the lobby all day, which was nice after a long day. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean and had a comfortable, homey feel. I'm honestly not sure why it has some of the lower reviews.

Ample parking with wide spaces although I was unpleasantly surprised that this hotel, like so many others in the Bay Area, recently started charging a fee for parking (as of Oct 2025, $7/night). This applies even to the highest level of Hilton HHonors program members. While not an exorbitant amount, it still smacks of the kinds of ridiculous nickel and diming that many hotels engage in recently. Otherwise, my stays here are usually pretty restful, with a diverse selection of nearby dining options, clean rooms with more A/C outlets than most hotels in its price range, and fairly modern decor.

They actually had a room ready and let us check in one hour early. To keep this review brief, I decided to just give the pros and cons and add informative photos. Pros: comfy king bed, big closet, large safe, microwave, fridge, keurig, quiet room, open balcony, San Francisco Bay Trail below our balcony, large bath with separate shower, Exercise room with no free weights, Quench water machine, EV chargers, snack/drink machines, morning breakfast/coffee served (worth skipping). Cons: No USB ports in the room?! Hotel is fairly close to the sketchy side of town (homeless camp 200 ft from hotel). No cold bottled water for rewards members, no pool, no airport shuttle, carpeting instead of laminate flooring, paid parking, our thermostat was really glitchy and would not work. Added benefit: your hotel key gains you access to the Executive Inn and Suites next door. There you will find a small pool/hot tub. There's also a small bar that opens at 5pm (happy hour 5:30-7:30) and you can order food as well. A Monday night stay was $325 and they charge $17 a day to park in their lot next to Hwy 880, not in a garage. I thought the rate was fairly high considering it's not the closest hotel to the airport and it's in the sketchy part of town. Check out the photos.

Had to walk back to the bullet proof window 3 times within 20 minutes on day 1 of my stay because the room key kept deactivating. Only after the 3rd time did the lady tell me that if they get ANYWHERE near an electronic device, the key deactivates. I've never heard of that. Even after keeping the key far away from any electronics, I still had to get it reactivated 5 more times throughout my stay; almost every day. They actually had the nerve to suggest that I didn't know how to open a hotel room door so I even took a video showing them it wasn't working. Once I got in the room, there where cockroaches; poop and blood stains on the sheets; and black stains on almost all of the towels. House keeping never came to my room (stayed for a week) so I had to track them down with their cart just to get basic necessities like toilet paper and soap. Don't even try the wifi because it's useless. Spoke with the owner about my horrible experience upon check out and she tells me that "we could have addressed these issues at the time but you didn't bring them up." Regardless of when I bring it up, what are you prepared to do about it? She just shrugs her shoulders. I ask her specifically what she would have done to address it at the time and all she could say on repeat like a broken record is "well we could have addressed this at the time." Clearly wouldn't have done anything to address it. I had already killed the roaches so what exactly would you have done? Given me another room? That would have been my 3rd room since getting there. Why would I want another room? So I have to tear that room apart looking for more roaches as well? Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. WILL BE speaking with health department.
