I like how laid back the atmosphere is and depending on how busy you have to wait for your food. Which is a good sign that nothing is pre made! Father and son work side by side and take their time making delicious sushi rolls. The tempura is lightly battered...the fried rice exceptional. I can't wait for a return visit. Simply delicious

The service was wonderful, despite us not being Spanish speakers, our server was helpful. We started of with a drink Tokio Slipper (tequila based) which was tasty and nicely decorated . Then we ordered spicy edamame (spiced to perfection). For sushi we ordered Soft shell crab roll (rolled in eel paper) and spicy tempura roll (also tasty). The best part for the meal was the warm butter cake served with vanilla ice cream, it was sooooo good! I also order the Moscow Mule which tasted a bit of the Moscow mule (had more of lemon taste than I'm used to) but good nonetheless. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Very nice place to eat. It was in walking distance from our…read morehotel so we decided to eat here. Kids had the hogan teriyaki chicken and the other with teriyaki steak. Both good, kids were happy and portions more than enough for young kids. I had the combination plate one with fresh thick salmon, a couple of sushi's, and a couple of nigiri. Overall I was pleased with my meal. Salmon has a good taste without being awesome. Hard being so far away from fresh salmon. Wife had chicken and cheese skewers and they were tasty. She also had a sushi with avocado and crab.... can't remember the name but it was good. Drinks... you have several options as they have a full bar. Mineral lemonade is good, and they have several beer options. The restaurant is not very big, however there is seating available outside too. Overall I will definitely comeback for more next time I'm around.

If you want to try tradicional, go for the menu in black that can be found in the middle of the menu. Otherwise, pick any other dish menu like a roll or a tuna toast. The service was very good and helped us in several ways. As we didn't know the place, the person helped us on what to eat and drink matching our hopes and expectations. It left a very good impression. Just hope everybody can have this kind of treatment on almost (I know it's impossible) every meal. We went there for dinner around 9:30/10 pm in a Friday and didn't make reservation and also didn't have to wait for a table. It's is really good to know that a place like this can have seats available without reservation. I ordered two drinks: one aperol spirit (my guess this is a variation of the normal aperol spritz) and a drink made with mint licor and gin. The gin one was incredible good, but a little bit sweet. The aperol was good but nothing espetacular. If you care so much to see the sushiman work, you can try seating in from of him, but in this particular restaurant I don't see any difference. Excellent choice near Valle Oriente neighborhood and much better than the other Japanese + Mexican restaurants near.
