Excellent and near my hotel choice of Japanese restaurant. A mix of tradicional and regional Japanese food with a good variety of drinks. If you want to try tradicional, go for the menu in black that can be found in the middle of the menu. Otherwise, pick any other dish menu like a roll or a tuna toast.
The service was very good and helped us in several ways. As we didn't know the place, the person helped us on what to eat and drink matching our hopes and expectations. It left a very good impression. Just hope everybody can have this kind of treatment on almost (I know it's impossible) every meal.
We went there for dinner around 9:30/10 pm in a Friday and didn't make reservation and also didn't have to wait for a table. It's is really good to know that a place like this can have seats available without reservation.
I ordered two drinks: one aperol spirit (my guess this is a variation of the normal aperol spritz) and a drink made with mint licor and gin. The gin one was incredible good, but a little bit sweet. The aperol was good but nothing espetacular.
If you care so much to see the sushiman work, you can try seating in from of him, but in this particular restaurant I don't see any difference.
Excellent choice near Valle Oriente neighborhood and much better than the other Japanese + Mexican restaurants near. read more
