It's simply a store that high school students like going to. Tickles is a shop that I'm familiar with ever since I was in highschool. When students had a crush on someone they would usually get something at tickles so they can give it to them. They had a lot of cute stuff that girls really liked so guys often found themselves buying stuff from there. Stuffed animals, cute pens, signs that you could hang on a door or whatever. It's not just crushes either. If you had a girl friend and she had an upcoming birthday and you had no clue what to give them going to tickles would mean that you'd given up thinking of something since you were bound to find something there.

I am not sure when they stopped becoming 'relevant' but suddenly, their bigger shops were closing and they started to branch out to the smaller areas of certain malls. I was dragged, but not necessarily in protest, here by my sister who was going to Cebu and thought that she might need bigger luggage for all her stuff. It can take hours though, haha, but you won't regret it. They have every style and trend you'd typically see on Tumblr, fashion blogs, Youtube beauty channels and fashion week! Inside, you'll also find spas, salons, money changers and ATM's. The prices range from super inexpensive to normal clothing price rates. A lot of stores sell super hip shoes, clothes, hats, shades and even prom dresses and traditional Filipino costumes.
