Don't waste your time or money! We made the mistake of trusting him as our attorney for four years…read more, only to find out that our immigration application was never submitted. (All attorney & application fees were paid for in full as he requested.) If he has done this to anyone else , make sure you get your money back. He doesn't respond via phone , but as soon as you begin a paper trail describing his negligence, he will respond. I contacted him via email. I'm not sure how he hasn't been disbarred after reading all of these complaints on him.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was referred to Raul by a mutual acquaintance to help with…read moremy wife's immigration. I had already filed a petition with the USCIS and filled out the I-129F (K3 spouse visa) and he charged me $2,500 to type it up and mail it, but he assured me it was a quick process to get her here while awaiting her immigration status. He gave me a grossly inaccurate timeline (1-3 months) before I paid him. Once he got his money, he was often hard to, if not impossible to get ahold of, unless I went through our mutual acquaintance. He has continued to string me along for over 8 months now, often replying to my inquiries about my wife's case by saying "any day now." He took $2,500 to type a form and send it by mail on his word of an assured timeline, which never turned out to be accurate. I later found out via the state dept that the timeline for that visa processing was at 12.5 months. Raul operates on false promises and deceit. If you don't avoid him from this review, just look at the countless reviews below mine to see the common denominator.

We engaged Leasa to help us create a trust for my mother's estate. I had done some research and we…read morewere pretty sure we wanted to use a trust, but the type of trust and the details of how specific trusts worked were still a bit unclear. We brough the principals of the family in to go over our needs and better understand the pros and cons of each option (revocable/irrevocable, income only, medicaid, etc.). Leasa was extremely patient with our questions and walked us through examples of cases where one type of trust would work better for us than other types. She was extremely knowledgeable and it was clear that she has a lot of experience with Elder Law. She even knew the administrator at my mother's senior living center, having worked with her via several other clients. Once we made a decision, the trust documents were created and it was just a matter of signing. Leasa got everything completed on time, and even added a few "bonus items" for no extra cost (fixed a few faulty Power of Attorney documents and a Living Will). After meeting with Leasa, we learned that she also did Real Estate transactions, so we also had her represent us in the sale of my mother's home. Once again, we found her to be extremely knowledgeable in answering all of our questions, and very responsive during the back-and-forth that is common during the offer/counter-offer/inspection phase of a real estate transaction. Our family will continue using Leasa for Estate Planning needs going forward, and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for help with Elder Law or needs representation in a real estate transaction.

Had to get on here and let others know about Leasa's firm. We've known Leasa for some time and we…read moreworked with her on a family law matter, and her guidance made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. Leasa's POA work on our behalf has been well-regarded by other attorneys and institutions that we've had to deal with. That says a lot right there. It's clear why--her documents are thorough, meticulously prepared and comprehensive. I've recommended her to others who are very exacting, and they were impressed. She explains everything clearly, is direct and she listens carefully. She knows her law.
