I was at the closing, and although I had no investment in the property, I felt like I had a good handle on things just from listening to the explanations -- which is great, because my husband doesn't always remember details as well as me. We've used Mr. Engel in the years since for all kinds of legal advise, help with rental agreements, in handling an eviction proceedings, and most recently, he was our attorney when we finally sold the condo. With each transaction, Mr. Engel explained everything fully to us, answered all our questions, and really made us feel at ease. A smart honest lawyer is hard to come by, but we definitely have one in Mr. Engel. I really resent the fact that lawyers can't practice in other states, because I don't know how I'll find someone as great to work with, should I ever need a lawyer in California!
