We booked them about a year out and then with about a month left reached out again to get all the details finalized. They were so helpful and Vince always made sure to call me and talk through everything. Now all we had to do was show up! We have heard nothing but amazing reviews from all of our guests about the photo booth! Vincent even called after the wedding to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted! I would give it zero stars if I could…read more I contacted high peak on March 6th for my wedding on June 2nd, which was very laid back and just at my house. I emailed them and explained that I work crazy hours sometimes, so email is more effective than phone tag. We just wanted to rent a tent, some tables, and chairs. Sarah got back to me almost immediately with a quote and suggested a visit to our house to work out logistics. I gave Sarah my availability and was told she would look into it and get back to me. That was on March 19th. I heard nothing back from Sarah until May 4th, when I got an email asking if I still wanted a site visit. My RSVP deadline was May 5th, so I waited until I had my final head count and emailed her back with the numbers of tables and chairs we needed. She provided me with an updated quote and told me she did not have a phone number or a signed contract from me. Neither of which I was asked for in the month and a half I was waiting for a site visit. I explained to Sarah that I could get her a contract and deposit at any point, I just needed some better communication and for her to tell me what she needed from me. She appologized and sent me a new quote and the lease agreement and asked me to sign it and return it with payment. I sent my fiance with a check and he returned home with a reciept. Today, 7 days before my wedding I recieved a phone call from Sarah that High Peak could not provide me with a tent, tables, and chairs because I missed the deadline, which I was ever informed of, and they had no availability. We were told to come and pick up our check. When we got to High Peak and inquired about the deadline, we were told that there is an event in Carlisle the day of our wedding and that they didnt know how many tents they would need until last weekend, when our tent should have been reserved since March 6th. The entire time we were there, one of the guys was trying to work things out and make it work for us. He completely apologized while Sarah sat there, silent. The only time she spoke up was to tell us that we didn't have any communication because we didn't give her a phone number even though she had been emailing me for weeks. Somehow this was all MY fault. Before leaving, we come to realize that the check we provided them had already been cashed. The check was cashed before anyone checked availibity. The whole situation is very unprofessional and inconsiderate on their part . Luckily, we had already spoke with a tent rental place down the street who was going to get us taken care of. He will be visiting our house TODAY AFTER HOURS and making sure our wedding isn't a complete disaster due to Sarah. This company knew exactly who we were talking about when we said we had been screwed over last minute and was not surprised. He has clearly fixed mistakes for High Peak in the past!

Their warehouse manager had just left, nobody was around, I waited 45 minutes with no answer -- so I grabbed what I knew the order was and got on with my day. When I realized I'd taken extra items, I brought them back with the return. They never even knew. At drop-off, Shelby helped me unload and told me I was good to go, with Jon Heller standing right there. No inspection, no damage flagged. Then I got home to an email billing me $115 + $75 for "damaged" tables -- charged to my card with no invoice and no chance to review anything first. Here's the kicker: the 8' table they charged me $115 to "replace" was sitting in their cleaning pile -- the "damage" in their own photo was the world's smallest dent. When I asked Jon to show me which of the nine 8' tables was even mine, he pointed at one at random -- a table with no mud on it after a rainy, muddy weekend at my event. When I asked what stopped him from photographing any random returned table and calling it mine, he had no answer. On the 6' table, Jon admitted there was no way to prove I did it. His answer was "you signed the contract saying it was all good," then "it's subjective," then -- to a customer who'd just voluntarily returned extra items -- "I can't really trust you." And the $75 they charged me for that beat-up used 6' table? A brand-new one costs $92. We even paid $11.57 for their damage waiver. It never came up -- not in the email, not in person. I was honest with these people at every step. This is how they repay it. Rent elsewhere.

The "worst" (and only "bad") part of our day was when they announced "last call" at 9:55pm!
