It is owned by a local resident who is very nice, and who also owns two or three other businesses in town. I am giving it three stars because it really is the only place to stay if you need to be in Grant for the night and frankly, the bed was clean and I had Internet. I don't need much. If you are looking for further amenities, however, this might not be the place for you. There is a laundry room on site, but no coffee/breakfast, and the building is pretty old (cinder block construction). Only one wall has a power strip that at would allow me to plug in my laptop and reach the bed, and that was a bit dirty. Old television and a couple of pieces of second hand furniture along with hallway echoes make it seem a bit like you are staying in a basement. But... it was only 50 bucks. In short, you get what you pay for. This town doesn't really need more than this place as both Ogallala and Imperial are packed with hotels and are less than 20 miles. The woman who owns the place is really hospitable and they seem to be doing some remodeling/updating. My room had a really nice window and ceiling fixture, for example. It is really hard to find info about these family owned motels in small towns, so good luck, travelers! I hope this review helps. :)
