Yeah, but here you can actually pay with Card, and for me, that i almost live cash-less is a blessing to have such stores nearby or at least in specific points, like the main station in the city center! I'm totally into supporting small businesses but, like i always say, better 98% of something than 100% of nothing! People in Germany should start supporting more the cash-less people! And the thing is that there are solutions like SumUp, iZettle, etc. but they just don't care. So thumbs up for copying a kind of store that exist since decades in North America!

This store was close to our hotel in Hansaring so we walked there to find supplies for dinner and…read morebreakfast in our room. We only shopped upstairs but they had a good supply of fruit, crackers and veggies. I would have liked to buy some prepared fresh veg, carrot and celery sticks, etc. But they didn't have anything like that. There salad bar was mostly prepared salad and didn't look appetizing. But we bought grapes and blueberries in packages and they were good.

Definitely one of the better supermarkets in Cologne. They have a pretty large selection, and also…read moremuch more room to move around than in the smaller Rewe City locations. One problem seems to be that when they don't have something on stock, it seems as if it takes ages for them to replace the items. They do offer a fairly impressive wine selection from all over the world. Definitely one of the perks. The staff is okay, not the friendliest in the world but also not the worst. For a German supermarket, it's pretty good.
