I have personally sent them thousands but to get a reciept is absolutely hell! they are the most non caring and dumb debt collectors I have ever dealt with my entire life! me and my wife and three kids are just waiting on a receipt to show the state for 3 weeks and they can't figure out how to do it! Lazy- could have resolved a collection issue with one phone call . . . but no, had to send a threatening letter (maybe to bill the client more) that was borderline incomprehensible- looked like a form letter they put together in the 80's. When my boyfriend and I started getting letters in the mail from them we were very confused. He was in a car accident that was deemed his fault which we understand, but we never heard anything since the accident until we started getting notices of collection from NSL. So we were confused and so we went there in person and they employees there had NO idea how to speak to us. They couldn't even explain to us why they were collecting 5 grand from us! Fast forward to today. When I call to simply make a payment over the phone I expect a cheerful, chipper person on the other end. After all, I AM giving you my money? You should be happy and thankful. Please, as a recommendation, do not work a job in which you have to work with the public if you can not be nice. If you are having a bad day, fake it until you make it! I am appalled at how awfully RUDE the person was that took my payment. FIND A NEW JOB! And to this company, please hire staff members who are kind, and compassionate with your clients. I honestly will say, Jay Niederman is a decent attorney. Compassionate as well! He accepted a low monthly payment on a long outstanding credit card balance for my son. My son had an unfortunate medical incident and could not pay his obligation for quite a few months, he was understanding to that as well. We all have a job to do, keep in mind he is representing a client so he is doing his job well. I am sure he has heard every excuse in the book for someone not being able to pay. My son was treated with respect in court. If I had to hire an attorney he certainly would be one of the top on the list! read more

Just recently had to encounter these people ( wouldn't even give them the respect to call them attorneys). First when I called to find out about the case I was talked to like I was dumb and I was some criminal. The Day of court the attorney thought he could talk down to us and treat us like we were five. He raised his voice at us and slammed his hands on the table. He didn't like the fact that We yelled back. He wasn't even our attorney thank god. Not only that he threatened us to take us in front of the judge. All we wanted to do was to explain our case and he took no interest. Instead he treated us like common criminals!! Why? I never leave negative reviews. So this is saying something. In my honest opinion, and after my dealings with them, I would not and cannot recommend them. I'm too afraid to leave any detailed information on "why" and "what happened" because that could, in turn, be used as identifying markers and, well, they are attorneys. Refuse to send receipts and payoff amounts. When they do a year later it says the same amount as before. Extremely non hostile when asked what was the total owed and what I had payed 3 different times told me the payoff amount instead refusing to give. Total due.. I swear I've owed the same amount for 3 years. Since its court ordered not much you can do. Watch out for them. It's not to much to want a receipt of payment. Especially from a law firm it should be automatic. read more
