The comments were positive, it was close to my home and specialized in estate law. Sounded like a great match so I went to their office for an introductory meeting. Sarah was great, she explained the options clearly, outlining the pro's and con's of various options with great detail. Once I indicated my interest in becoming a client, documents were prepared for draft review, we iterated and had one final meeting to review executable docs. Simple, quick and thorough.

Also continually tries to talk you into wasting more time and money by way of dissertations and going to court. At the end of it all he took my awarded settlement and paid himself first, then wrote me a check from his office for the remainder. I felt like that was totally unethical. Mixes up clients constantly and shares personal information with the wrong people. Talks down to clients and uses demeaning, manipulative and sleezy tactics. (Against her own clients!) Does not listen to or respect clients or their struggles. Likes to draw out cases to rack up the bill. I've never seen a lawyer who was so bad at their job. It was extremely disappointing. The more people I met who knew her, the more I heard about how this was a known reputation. She should retire and quit while she is ahead. This review will probably be removed like the other bad reviews she has received. More manipulation unfortunately.
