Lovely and quiet B&B hidden in Agerola. Stayed here with a hiking group and was a great place to…read morerelax. Downtown square and restaurants all within walking distance. The family who runs this place is very nice and accommodating. Great breakfast spread, too! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a taste of the local culture, while also needing a place to rest.

This is a wonderfully relaxing B&B located in the mountains between Naples and Amalfi. It is quiet,…read morenicely appointed and the family that runs it are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed for three nights in September and would be happy to go back, any time other than in winter when the mountain roads would be downright scary! The town of Agerola is not full of tourist traps. We ate twice in very nearby restaurants and had good food for reasonable prices - both restaurants were recommended by the owners of the B&B. Our last morning we wanted to buy some fresh locally made mozzarella and Laura, the daughter who manages guest accomodations made a quick phone call to her mother who promptly brought us some from her father's dairy on the family farm!! If you enjoy hiking then the location is ideal: it's a ten minute walk to the hiking trail down to Positano known as "The Path of the Gods". It rained the morning we had that scheduled so we didn't go, but just driving up from Napoli is beautiful and driving down to Amalfi is breathtaking...if you're the passenger as the driver will not be able to let his/her attention drift even a little or risk crashing! We had good access to Napoli, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Salerno, Sorrento as well as Amalfi although parking there was a nightmare. If you go in good weather, make time to ride the cable car up Monte Faito, it runs from the train station in Castellemare en Stabia and costs €8 round trip for a ten minute ride with glorious vistas. And there are hiking trails at the top too. Only six rooms, each with a balcony and there is a communal a shaded terrace on the ground floor if you want to have lunch outside (as we did with leftovers and storebought add ons. We paid €60 a night for a queen size bed with shower and that included breakfast. Even visiting all the plaves listed we only spent €55 on fuel for the Opel Corsa we rented so it was very good value for the money. The breakfast buffet was nice, had a different pastry every day, juices, yogurt, white bread for toast and cooked eggs and potatoes as well as sluced cheese, fresh ricotta and two types of cured meat. Only one type of fresh fruit served but your first capuccino is included! Stay here if you want a restful night in the mountains, you won't regret it
