Worst Service EVER. zero stars should be an option. Do not be fooled. I'm not quite sure what they actually do, but they are certainly not a cleaning service.
They are very adamant about their 2 hour minimum. so much so it now makes sense. Of course, it makes sense, they don't want to come out and clean for less than 2 hours. i get it. with 2 people, and a 3800sq ft home, i had zero expectation my home would be cleaned in less than 2 hours. If they finish before then, fine, i understand what a 2 hour minimum is.
However, when they leave before 2 hours is up, AND the house is only partially cleaned, then i'm pissed. What in the world kind of service is this? You don't get to clean for an hour and then charge clients for 2 hours. that's not how it works.
let's back up. When they arrived, we discussed the house and what needed to be cleaned. We agreed that not all windows would be cleaned every time because there were too many but they would spot clean the ones that needed it. We discussed the number of bathrooms and rooms that we have, we agreed where they would start vacuuming since I was about to get on a work call. i leave them to clean. I'm on a work call. i see them walk out and am thinking oh they're done vacuuming and must be just putting it in the van and will be back. they never came back.
I find that not 1 bed was made. the trash in the bathrooms was not emptied. The counters were not wiped down. The showers and bathtubs weren't even touched. only half of the house was vacuumed. part of the kitchen was cleaned, but not the counters. visible crumbs still on the counter. I'm still not actually sure what they did.
I got a text response saying that yes, they would collect the garbage in the bathrooms and make the beds next time. ?? I called and texted and was baffled to learn that they really didn't care about my experience. they are standing behind their "service" and think that my expectations are more in line with a "maid service than a house cleaner." so my expectations that you're clearly capable of vacuuming, but not the whole house, and you're capable of wiping down some things, but not all was unreasonable? I was more than reasonable and offered to pay for the 1 hour they were there even though i'm irate and received poor service. They are demanding 2 hours of payment and are sending it to a collections agency.
so now they get to deal with my lawyer and the security cam footage of them entering and leaving, along with pics after their "cleaning" took place. I tried to resolve this rationally with them and they had zero interest in listening and trying to discuss it like a professional business. read more
