If zero stars were possible. If you love being ignored, belittled, and ramming your head against a…read morewall, then this is the doctor for you! I have been having odd symptoms. I did internet research so I could learn about my primary diagnosis and was belittled for that. She was a dismissive jerk with every question I asked her. She also belittled me for a decision a previous Endocrinologist made for me about medication. I walked out after half the appointment because she had already made it dead clear that as long as my numbers were within range, I was fine no matter what side effects I was having of being on a high or low end. How dare any doctor shame you for trying to learn about your health issues when they don't, can't, or won't help. Also, she took it a step further and complained in her after summary visit about me "looking on the internet" when I said I was specifically reading medical websites. Did she ask which ones? no. If she had, I would have specified, Stanford, University of Maryland, & another large teaching hospital I can't recall at the moment.

This office was pretty efficient and the process felt smooth. I came in with a few things bothering…read moreme and the doctor didn't brush anything off. They asked for details and made sure I felt heard. Took time to go over things and made some notes that they actually looked at instead of just typing stuff in a screen. It was helpful that they gave me info on what might be going on and what to keep an eye on.

She was so attentive, always spoke with care and compassion and made sure I/ we were always comfortable with the levels of answered we received. At my very lowest points during this journey and there were a few, Dr. Abusief called me after hours returning my messages, talking me through the process and expectations, she never let me lose sight of my goals or dreams. She never gave me unrealistic expectation, however is was her love and passion and strength that kept me going. I am proud to say I am now 7.5 Months pregnant and we couldn't of gotten here with out her attention to detail, her passion and her commitment to us and all her other patients. She has gifted us and we are ever so so lucky. Thank you Dr. Abusief and staff. We are so very blessed. Tami R.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend PAMF Fertility Physicians for IVF treatment…read more First, it took almost two months from my initial consultation to actually start the IVF process. Even though this is not a particularly large clinic, the doctors and nurses rotate frequently. If you choose a specific doctor hoping they will be involved throughout your treatment, that may not be the case. I only saw my doctor once or twice during the actual IVF process. My own doctor was not even there for my egg retrieval, and I was assigned to another doctor whom I had never met before. Another frustrating issue was the medication. I was prescribed much more medication than I ended up needing. As anyone going through IVF knows, these medications are extremely expensive. I was left with a significant amount of unused medication. When I brought this up, I was simply told that this sometimes happens and that I could save it for my next cycle. But what if I don't want or need another cycle? Considering how expensive these medications are, I expected much more careful planning. I also did not find the nursing care particularly attentive or caring. I felt that too much responsibility was placed on the patient to keep track of important dates, medication timing, instructions, and follow-ups during an already stressful process. The billing was another major issue. It was very unclear and lacked transparency. I paid out of pocket for a full IVF cycle that was supposed to include my ultrasound appointments and lab work. However, I later noticed that they were also billing my insurance and charging me separately for some ultrasound visits and lab services. This made me question exactly what was included in the amount I had already paid. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking into smaller private fertility practices for IVF. I believe they may offer more personalized and attentive care, as well as clearer and potentially more affordable pricing.

After a long hold I was instructed that I must fill out pre visit information and select an appointment. I did and selected one of the choices. At the end of filling out the information it stated that the appointment choice was not available. There was no way to select another choice but to go back and all my information was erased. This happened 3 times. I gave up but tried again, with the same result. I was told both times that I would receive a call to set an appointment! No one has called. This is far too frustrating and I hope no one else experiences this. I will be contacting a different Cardiologist.
