I broke a front tooth while camping in Quartzsite Arizona, for the winter. Dr Clark in Blythe, a 45 mile round trip from Quartzsite, was the only dentist in the area, who, I was told, would accept my California insurance. I requested an emergency appointment and was given one for a week later. I was examined by his assistant who took an x ray and told me I have several very old fillings that need to be replaced and was given an appointment for the following week. I arrived and sat in the waiting room for about 1/2 - 3/4 of an hour before being told Dr Clark would not be in that I and I needed to reschedule. I was given no explanation or apology. I made another appointment for the following week. I has already driven to Blythe, about two hours prior to my appointment, when I received a call from the office telling me that Dr Clark would not be in that day. Again, with no explanation. When I tried to explain my situation the receptionist asked if I wanted to reschedule or find another dentist. Felling I had no choice I rescheduled again for the following week. Today, the date of my next scheduled appointment, I received a call telling my appointment need to be rescheduled about two hours before my scheduled appointment. I asked what the problem was as this was the third time this has happened. The receptionist told me the dentist was not feeling well, and gave me the name of another provider in Blythe who would accept my insurance. I have no idea what is going on with such unprofessional behavior, while a month later, I still have not been able to have the tooth treated.

However, the doctor went out of his way to help me with a kind of a unique issue where we couldn't find out exactly where the problem was.
