You need to be a resident or buy tickets beforehand on the website and there is a capacity. Be more prepared and plan.

Used to be $10 precovid. To get in admission it's $10 per person it used to be $5 pre-Covid. This can get expensive with a large family Gets pretty busy in the summer time Smaller beach compared to the other ones in Ontario Restaurants are about a 5-10mins walk away so it's best to bring your own lunch and a cooler of drinks with snacks If you're looking for a clean beach and don't mind paying for the parking and admission this is the beach for you. I took one star off for the parking and admission. Otherwise 5 stars all the way!

I think charging for entrance is ridiculous. Washrooms is very limited and everyone has to wait in line to change and wash their legs. Families washroom is dirty and smelly. I would think since there is a charged for entrance the facilities provided would be better than other beaches.Living in Toronto and driving down 2 hrs to see this is definately NOT WORTH IT....might as well go to beach that is free, you get the same feeling plus save money. Highly NOT recommended !!!

We splashed around in the surf, then headed for the car once the skies opened up! Will definitely watch the weather reports over the next few days and try to get back out there for some beautiful fall beachcombing. This is a nice clean little beach with no admission fee and no parking fee. Restrooms are easily accessible in the parking lot area and the beach is a relatively short walk across the bridge past some dunes and down to the shore. I recommend you check out the availability of a lifeguard before you drive out there. Our drive time was over an hour and a half only to find out that they pulled the lifeguards due to the weather.

Bennett Beach is a great day trip out of the metro, about a 45 minute drive or so down Lake Erie…read more The beach sits back a short walk from the parking lot. You have to walk across a bridge over Three Sisters Creek, and down a sandy trail past the dunes to get out to the water. The restrooms are near the parking lot, so best to use them before trekking out to the sand. Bennett is a good sized beach with a decent length of shoreline. I love walking in the sand, and Bennett has a good stretch to easily get in a mile or two if you walk up and down the public area. One side of the beach is clearly posted, whereas the other side is harder to tell where private beach starts. Anytime I've walked down near where homes are, it doesn't seem to be an issue. I love the beach. My husband loves to fish. So we end up at Bennett often because Three Sisters Creek keeps the hubs happy to cast a few, and I can head out to the shore. He hasn't pulled anything huge out of the creek here, but any day fishing is still a good day of fishing. He enjoys himself here. As long as you don't mind a bit of a walk from the car to the water, Bennett is a beautiful beach for swimming, strolling, sunning, and/or fishing. Hauling a huge cooler or a lot of gear out to the sand is a chore here, but once you're out there, it's well worth it.

Dan & I also played mini golf and strolled along the beach to take in the beautiful sunset. We brought our yoga mats to relax taking a class beachside. We never knew we need authorized to park at public washroom! Moreover, it's a resort and all vehicles went through security gate before entering into the resort. Isn't that Authorized ?! When we questioned about the infraction ticket, the receptionist brought our concern to head of security and she came back saying the head of security - Rob McDonald reduced the amount to $25. We asked why at first place we received the fined because we did not park at the owners driveway or roadside parking. There has no sign stating "Unauthorized vehicle will be fined" Or "No Parking" Or "Maximum 20 mins for parking" Or even "No overnight parking" whatsoever. We were told Rob had left. We told the receptionist we want to speak to him in person to get a clear picture what exactly we did wrong. We were told to come back next day. We went back to office 4 times in total during our 4 nights stay and Rob McDonald refused to see us as well as give us a valid explanation what exactly "Unauthorized Parking" means that he was charging us for. The unjustified reason given is not up to normal standard. On our last talked to another receptionist, she said we cannot park if there is sign saying "No Parking" or "Cart Only". We went back to the public washroom and took a video wanted to show Rob that there has no such sign(s) at all. Again, Rob is busy and the receptionist gave us his email address asking us to email him to schedule a time to meet to discuss our concern. We sent him email the same day around noon time and we have not heard from Rob McDonald even after we checkout two days later. The management is absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional like many other customers experienced. You cannot charge customers on something you cannot justify! To us, it shows they are so desperate to charge anything out of vacationers! We are new to the resort. In the welcome booklet, it says "Re-Book and get 20% off". We were excited and thinking of booking again (by extending few more days) until this incident happened. Until today (over a month), no email from Rob telling us what does it meant by "Unauthorized Parking" at the public washroom parking. Upon searching on the web, we realized we are not the first one who have been charged for parking at public area. We saw the management replies stating "We do not permit parking on the beach (for environmental care) or along the road (to avoid traffic congestion). Guests should park only in the marked lots."... What exactly does it mean? We did not see any "Marked lots" stating for CAR only ... we did see "RV Parking" and "Cart Only" ... It's reasonable to think the rest of the "parkings slots" are meant for CARS ... Right? If you do not permit to park on beach public parkings or roadside, why even put on parking slots divider / lines? It seems like another lame excuses. If you do not want people to park at public washroom or public area, you need to put up a sign. But again, its absurd people need to get permit to park at public washroom! We parked the car at the public washroom at around 11:40 ish am and the ticket was issued at 12:18pm!!! We are still waiting for Rob McDonald response. How exactly should vacationers knows where to park and where not to park when there has no clear sign(s) at public parking area? To Management, if you need, we do have video showing there has no sign or warning about parking at the washroom area.

The beach is still inaccessible there are giant cement blocks so it's not a straight shot down for a wheelchair and the grass around them is very uneven and hilly like ground for a wheelchair to go over and I got stuck in the rocks and had to ask people to help push me out, then on the way back to the walk way (video I posted) my wheelchair was going to flip. There are small simple things that they could have been done, I've been to other beach's that have strips over the sand/ rocks that wheelchairs can ride over. The building looks nice they added a small golf course. To me it seems like all they did was build the restaurant and build up the rock walls especially around the beach.

PROS: - There is no lifeguard and no swimming allowed, which means it's mostly child-free and thus has a much calmer environment than other area beaches. - I've visited twice (each on a weekday) during COVID and it's been not crowded and easy to socially-distance from the few other folks. - Immaculate bathrooms easily accessible from the beach. - Close, ample, and free parking. CONS: - More rocks than sand. if you're going to relax and watch the water, simply bring a camp chair and that won't matter. The rocks are really pretty, too! - No swimming allowed, so if you're looking to take a dip, head elsewhere. - Very little, if any, shade on the beach itself. Bring an umbrella.

Overall though, this park sits mostly empty. The property was formally owned by the Wendt family, but the county has not maintained the house, guest house, and stables. They are all Boarded up and painted white. I think in the 60s or 70s a restaurant operated in the main house. People come to this park for the quiet beach access. Between a cut in a hill, you can access the beach. It has twigs and stones scattered about. It's certainly not maintained or swept with a tractor. If there were any recommendation, it would be to sweep this beach with a tractor regularly, I think the park would really generate a lot more visitors. The bathrooms were in great condition and very clean. There is a mural on the exterior bathroom wall. And, this year, the county's bike-hike trail was entered through the park. You could travel to Bennett beach from there by using the trail. There are picnic benches. I was there recently where a small birthday party was held.
