She walked in and as soon as we started to talk, I knew why she was regarded as the best. She knew everything about the current market in the neighborhood, she even knew what I paid for the place! She had a complete analysis worked up for me, it outlined the recent comparable sales as well as the units on the market that would be my competition. It also had an explanation of all the fees and estimated closing costs so I had a full understanding of what a sales price would mean against what I originally paid for the unit. She explained everything in detail but in the end insisted that all pricing decisions were mine to make, after all it was my unit and my money. Throughout the entire process, Francesca was amazing. She was diligent about seeking feedback from prospective buyers, and always made time to talk to me about the market conditions. It took a little longer than I was originally hoping for, but in the end she was able to get an offer that worked for me. I knew home-buying would be a complicated and occasionally fraught process, but nothing really…read moreprepares you for it. What helps immensely, though, is having an awesome agent on your side. Tom Annerino is a guy you want on your side. He works out of the Orland Park office, and we're mostly looking in Villa Park and Lombard, so it's probably a little unusual. But Tom helped my in-laws sell their house when they moved from Oak Lawn to Orland Park, and he's also a neighbor of theirs, so we knew he was trusthworthy. From the get-go, Tom was on our side, let us take as much of the lead as we were comfortable with while offering suggestions, advice and just generally making really helpful observations. For instance, when we'd walk into a house, while my husband and I were admiring the landscaping or checking out the kitchen, Tom would be looking at the roof and giving us the approximate age of the HVAC system. He's readily available and gives you as much time as you need (but realize he is a busy man!). So far we've made two offers and neither has worked out -- the first unwilling to negotiate; the second, we actually got as far as the inspection before realizing what a total nightmare was in front of us. When we realized it was time to back out, Tom was on our side immediately and never pushed us to keep going, even though it meant no commission for him just yet. Even though we're not at the moving in stage yet, I wanted to recommend Tom wholeheartedly for all of the help he has given us so far and the service I am sure we'll continue to experience.
