If you're an engineer type like me, he'll give you a spreadsheet market analysis, if you are are more mood and feel, he will speak to that. 5) Great negotiator 6) Super punctual and responsive, we pulled off a 30-day closing window which wouldn't have been possible w/o Rich's professionalism I could go on. So glad we found him.

He was very thorough when looking at houses with us and pointed out things to look out for that we would have otherwise missed. He worked diligently on our behalf from the time we hired him as our agent through closing. In that time we saw quite a few houses and made several offers, but not once did we ever feel pressured by Rich - he very much works for his clients and is not at all pushy, which we sincerely appreciated! I would recommend Rich to anyone looking to buy a home in Greater Boston!

After going through 3 different agents during our home search, my husband and I were frustrated and losing hope that there were any agents out there who would return our calls/emails in a timely manner, not push us to look at properties that we clearly said weren't fitting into what we were looking for, or have a knowledge base about areas that would fit our commuting needs. I finally went to Zillow and found Ann after reading some high reviews. Ann was great from day one. We discussed the type of properties my husband and I were interested in, our price range and our community/commuting needs. Moving up from NJ less than a year before, my husband and I relied on Ann to guide us to towns that would work for us since we didn't know the area. After really listening and taking the time to consider what we were looking for, Ann showed us many different options, was patient with us during our home search process, never pressured us at all, and either knew or quickly found out the answer to all of our questions. (We really appreciated that if Ann was unsure of the answer to our question, instead of make an assumption, she would do the footwork to find out the accurate answer for us.) We also appreciated how during our home tours, Ann would point out things we may not have noticed, both good and bad about the home, and taught us a few things to be aware of. During the purchase process, Ann was at our side every step of the way, answered questions, offered suggestions as we needed them, was very informative as to the values of competitive properties in the area and, in turn, the true assessed value of our future home, and guided us through the entire process. It made the whole experience less stressful and more enjoyable as we bought our new home. My husband and I are grateful to Ann for all her hard work, being a true teammate to us, educating us, and helping to find us our dream home! We highly recommend Ann Trotto and wish we had found her sooner!

tl;dr - Astonishingly unprofessional, incompetent, and erratic employees. For the sake of your time…read moreand sanity, do not deal with this company. I am sure there are good people at Werentcentralmass that are professional and competent, however, I did not encounter them. Admittedly, I should have read the countless poor reviews of this business and of Joe Ward before I dealt with them, so shame on me. Either way, this is my complete and honest review: I was shown an apartment by Joe Ward that had been gutted with the promise it would be ready for August 1st. It seemed like a great deal for $1295, so the next day I went into the office to put down a $700 deposit that would "take it off the market". Before I signed the application, though, I had a few questions about the strong legal language in the fine print at the bottom of the application. The language stated that if you were approved for the apartment, and decided you did not want it, they kept your deposit. It also stated that if the landlord decided he wanted to keep your deposit, werentcentralmass is entitled to AN ENTIRE'S MONTH RENT ON TOP OF THAT. This is pretty excessive. I have dealt with shady landlords before, so I just wanted to discuss this with someone before I signed, especially because I was putting a deposit down on an apartment that technically did not exist. The questions and concerns I had were reasonable, but the person, Rochelle, with whom I dealt was astonishingly unprofessional. She acted as if I was personally insulting her by questioning the legal language. She was dismissive, impatient, and rude. Before the door even closed behind her, I could hear her complaining. I also encountered her on the way out of the building and by the looks she gave her friend, you would have thought she was in high school, and not an adult representing a business. Again, ASTONISHINGLY unprofessional. This should have been all the red flags I needed for this company. However, Joe Ward breezed in after her and assured me everything was above board. I was uneasy, especially after the receptionist and he argued through the wall about the actual price of rent for the apartment. None of them wanted to "put anything in writing". Red flag number 2. I really liked the apartment though, so I put down the deposit. After this I was strung along with requests with more documentation, all of which I provided, and then, radio silence. I called, texted, and emailed Joe Ward day after day and heard nothing. I called werentcentralmass several times over a series of days and always got their voicemail AT A BUSINESS DURING BUSINESS HOURS. I was becoming very uneasy as the move in date loomed closer. THREE WEEKS after I put down the deposit, I then saw the apartment listed again for $100 more with the caption "This won't last!" Unreal. I finally cornered Joe on his office phone and he claimed "I didn't get your messages", "I have two Alannas in my phone" "Insert generic excuse" etc. Supposedly it had taken two days for them to decide I was not approved and three weeks for me to find out. If I had not hounded them, I probably would never have been told. Ironically, the keeping of the deposit is to ensure that YOU don't waste THEIR time and leave them scrambling to find a tenant. Excuse me now, while I scramble to find an apartment. Unbelievable way to run a business. 10/10 do not recommend.

Sabrina took our application and deposit for the one bedroom unit and disappeared for the next two weeks. She only bothered to reach out to tell us that the unit we wanted was already "rented out" despite us putting a deposit down. I can't forget to mention that our deposit was cashed immediately. In Sabrina's defense, she tried to remedy the situation but all the new units she was showing us were utter crap so we requested the deposit back which she said we would definitely get back in full. Two weeks go by without a word until I had to hound her. When I finally got Sabrina on the phone she said oh crap I'll check on that and get back you. Of course she never does. We finally got a check in the mail a week and a half later but not even the for the full amount and now I can't get a hold of anyone. They're keeping my money at this point. I will be copying and pasting this review on all forms of social media. Stay far away from this ridiculously unprofessional place. Nothing but scam artists and crooks. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but I am going out of my way to write a review and warn people to not deal with this place. I feel bad for anyone who has had to deal with these guys already. Seriously, go read the other reviews and you'll know why they suck. Sincerely, a guy who was just robbed of a deposit

Our first impression of Eve did not match her poor performance which followed. We were LIED to about the property she was selling. Why some real estate agents LIE is beyond me?? Wouldn't it be best for them just to be truthful and honest?? Today we are fighting her in court regarding our last property (maybe that's another reason why she was fired after 2 weeks of being employed with this company!). Since our unfortunate dealings with Eve Patterson (while she was briefly with Park Realty), we found an awesome agent (out of Boston) who took much better care of us and understood what we just went through with her. He too, has heard many complaints with regards to her shady real estate dealings. Her track record is terrible and speaks for itself! Come to find out, we recently found out that she lasted with Park Realty for only a couple weeks! So she is not Working for this company anymore allegedly. What does that tell you? Ask her previous employers if you want to inquire about her (lack of) performance history! I don't expect you to take our word for it. Please check for yourselves. I hear she gets fired from every agency that hires her, within weeks! So even her agencies have had it with her shenanigans. That word sums it up. So I will provide some updates as this case progresses. Will write them here. Thank you. God bless.

Before fully moving to Worcester we visited for a weekend and Dave spent many hours driving us around Worcester and the surrounding communities to familiarize ourselves with the area. While we were still across the country Dave attended many open houses for us and did plenty of FaceTime walk-throughs. What I appreciate about Dave is his honesty The fact he was the opposite of being pushy agent and actually more like family guiding us through this big life step. Ultimately, after quite a bit of househunting, we were able to find a place which is been such a joy for us. Dave was recommended to us by many colleagues and now I can see why. He's from Worcester and well known around town. He has consistently been a top realtor in the area for quite some time. If you're moving in Worcester, or live in the area and are looking for a new home, I cannot strongly enough recommend Dave Stead. Thanks again Dave for helping us get an awesome place !
