Her attitude was very off putting to say the least. She then told me that my land isn't very valuable because its not flat and city people are the ones buying in the Poconos and they want flat land like the city. Well we're city people and the reason we bought the house was because it was unique and unlike the city. She also said the house has steps and nobody wants a house with steps to the driveway. She valued my house and property at $80,000. When I told her my price she laughed and said that would just be a waste of everyone's time. I listed with another realtor for $114,900.00. I sold the house for $112,000.00. I had 51 showings in 60 days. My advice would be to find another realtor.

It was then that we contacted GJP Contracting to get an idea of what we could do, how much it would be, what the timeline would be, etc. Little did we know, this conversation would also be the prologue to the story of how we now live in our dream home. From our first discussion with Glenn, we could tell he was experienced, knowledgeable, fair, and most importantly honest. He recommended we contact an architect, a colleague of his, to get things started and take it from there. From the initial drawings to when we broke ground in early 2017 flew by. As the house started to take shape, Glenn met with us EVERY step of the way, kept in frequent contact with us, and let us know how everything was going. This gave my wife and I an enormous sense of comfort, which you need when you drive past your house and see the roof missing and the walls being knocked down! Throughout the process he was able to provide recommendations for literally everything we needed.
